Here for the KEBE
DandyRoyal
Here for the KEBE Surely this game is aiding McCarthy's chance of a permanent move to Leeds which for 90% of Reading fans is a very bad thing?! Take a look at both Leeds and Reading's win % when he's been in goal - that should shut you all up

So we shouldn't win the game because we don't want McCarthy's absence for Leeds to be noted as a reason for their loss?! I think losing (well from this position anyway) would be a 'very bad thing', certainly much worse than a win that (possibly) increases the chance of Leeds going for a permanent move?

I never said we shouldn't try and win the game but it's clearly highlighting how much better McCarthy is than Lonergan which means he'll be reinstated as their no.1 and his reputation will be enhanced even further

Leeds have had a month to look at him and know what he is capable of. I would imagine he has been heavily scouted already by many clubs considering his involvement with the England U-21 team. What happens today has no bearing on whether he stays or goes, although I doubt Leeds have the resources to buy him anyway.

I saw an interesting stat the other day.

Apparently, Reading have only lost 1 in their last 8 games, the game before christmas. If that makes any sense ..... :P

Result! Great win especially considering the number of players we had missing.
