Friday's Legacy he was a class above today. his movement and his through balls were perfect. he reads the game better than anyone else here, and really gave us something we've been missing.
when he's fully fit and can do 90 minutes we've got ourselves a very very good player here, but he needs to be partnered with the right player up front, and i don't feel that is hunt or church. for me it's a natural finisher, i.e. le fondre, who must be exceptionally frustrated at seeing simon church coming on in his place. just doesn't make sense to me.

Basically agree
But TBF I thought Hunt was VG today and he will get close to 1 in 2 playing with JR
But suspect Alf would fill his boots alongside the big man

Franchise FCIan Royal I take any negativity back. Roberts is a superb signing and is no way near past it.
Given what I've heard from Charlie Nicholas this afternoon, you should take it back.

Super Kevin Bremner! Reason this is a good signing is that Roberts has many of the attributes that Made Shane Long so effective in this league. He has pace, power and most important of all he drives at defences, forcing them to make decisions they don't want to in and around their own penalty area.
Expect our penalty count to rise again is all I'm saying. Championship defenders aren't good enough when forwards run at them.
I think this is a very clever signing.

MmmMonsterMunch He looks absolutely fcuking quality IMO & has only spent 2 days with the team. Definitely a bright part of what was otherwise a pretty drab performance.
Quite excited for what could happen once Kebe & Legs are back.

agreed. only one training session before today's game. very positive. couldn't be happier with his debut. i just don't feel we threaten teams when hunt and/or church play.

MmmMonsterMunch How exactly is he going to carry on with 606 when we play away from home? Am I correct in thinking tonight he is doing it from the Reading BBC studio?
