royalexile They are our normal seats so will see you next season. Apologies for some of the choice swearing.

don't apologise. the kids know what you hear at football you don't repeat at home lol, otherwise i'd be in a lot of trouble... they thought ben was funny. they'll be giving him some cheek next season!

we actually managed to book forest seats in row y, a few to your left, so might catch you then!

Royal Prince
royalexile Fair play to you Ben for that one. It needs a kick start at West Ham if that chant is ever going to catch on. The death stare from the young girl below you was pure lolz.

Favourite image of the day.

Loved this, especially at Cardiff away in the playoffs last season.

Perhaps we should amend it for West Ham away in light of Kebe's sockg8:

"Socks off, if you love Reading, socks off, if you love Reading!"

*although might have to bring a spare pair of football socks in my pocket as even getting my shoe on and off is a right ball ache!

favourite song of last year.

just for the sheer random glory of it

great game- was very worried about this one, after tuesday. but the team showed it for the blip it was. we looked so good. and still another gear to get into if im not mistaken.

fed- solid- could do nothing with that cracking finish from lua lua 7
cummings- great comeback, looked assured at the back, and offered more than the other RBs going forward yesterday. 8
pearce - solid, as, a , rock. and scored again 8
gorkss - started a bit iffy but soon turned rock like again 7
harte- started poorly, but got back into it, and played well 7
ledge- a rock, 7
karacan- usual running, but with added flair, vision and forward passing 8
mcanuff - 9, great supply, and he works his socks off, tracking back, tackling, covered every blade- a real skippers performance
kebe- still in his usual slow return from injury phase, some good, some bad, tired a bit. 6
nhunt- immense work rate - 8
afobe- one good run and cross, held it up on a couple of occasions. other wise quiet, but then he clearly needs time with the team. didnt know whether to stick or twist most times, and was crying out for a ball on the deck through the middle occasionally- 6

Agent Balti
muddyfeet Anyone else think Afobe's first touch was a little poor?

No...not at all. I thought it was pretty damn sharp. He did very well considering, lay off the boy Muddyfers!!!

Hardly being overly critical, hes out of match practice but his first touch was poor compared to say McAnuff

Kebe and Cummings didn't look to connect very well Saturday - not so much Cummings fault but more Kebe playing too far apart from him.....if Blackpool were a better side they would have exploited the gap Jimmy was leaving Cummings exposed to. Against West Ham/Southampton he needs to get tighter

Man Friday Noel Hunt wasn't at the races today though. Can't recall him winning a single header.

I was up in Y19 for once, and was a) surprised at how poor the atmosphere is up that end (although there were sporadic efforts to get it going), and b) surprised at how little you could hear Y25/26 from that end of the ground.

I'd have had McAnuff or Cummings as MOTM.
Karacan and Pearce next.

McAnuff for me I think.

Re: atmosphere. There isn't really any down the North end but what i will say is no matter how loud you think you sound in Y25/Y26, I can barely hear anything down the other end. Likewise with the away fans - unless there are 4000 stood up singing then I literally can't hear a thing.

Another good all round TEAM performance. McAnuff was MotM for me.

Let's hope we can produce more of the goods again next Saturday otherwise we could find ourselves on a bit of a downer and back to 3rd place.

Yeah, I was surprised at how little you hear... When you're in Y25/6 you think it's really noisey, but then it just seems to dissipate.
