West Stand Flash What a let down.

Signings like this tool is why this club is already relegated.

Oh oxf*rd off with your negativity.

Fans asked for Premier League experienced players, club delivers and negative fans like yourself still moan.

GreaterTorontoRoyal
2 world wars, 1 world cup Yep good signing.

LB is FAR more important/urgent but it's early days.

Until then we can use kebe on the left to cover for tortoise I guess.

From the OS:
"Comfortable on either the right or the left side of defence"
Although, if I recall correctly, this is the same OS that said either Tabb or Matejovsky could play on the wing.

I seem to remember Jay Tabb starting out as a winger at Brentford....so not entirely unrealistic.

Probably the most negative about this signing will be our third choice right back, who himself was seen as our answer to the right back problems just a few months ago.

Go on then, who should we have go instead?
Because this guy is as good as you're gonna get without going into extreme amounts of debt!

He is better than what we have. Kelly / Morro / Pearce / Shorey is not a bad back four.

Solid enough experienced signing. Will be able to get involved straight away and at worst strengthens our back four for next year also.

Slightly disappointed we have had to shell out for another right back so soon after spending 2.5 million on the last one, but would rather we improve a problem position than ignore it out of a sense of pride.

Still hopeful for a ball playing midfielder to come in. There are 20 days to go yet after all.

Fulham fans don't rate him. Apparently makes a lot of mistakes. Perfect competition for Gunter and Cummings then?

Either our offer was huge and they couldn't turn it down, or he wasn't getting a game for Fulham as they didn't rate him highly enough.

You decide.

So no meltdown....but certainly Let down, possibly followed by Breakdown.

RB is not the priority position i assumed was so important to fill, but hope he does well and we have to trust the management at this stage of the season.

think people are let down by this signing as full back wasnt really our main priority instead we need a prem proven striker or attacking mid which is very hard to find.

Has he had a bad injury?

Looks as if he has only played 50 games in the last 4 years.

Interesting that a lot of you are saying RB isn't the priority position, you certainly thought otherwise after the Wigan, Arsenal, Man Utd games...
