That's your view wizard, and that's fine. But your cause at those that see it different has done you no favours. Many on here will recall the Simod cup win . A season where many fans thought that we were relegated due to a manager not cling the most of his players. The same happened not long after with TB1 great cup run, but sudden capitulation and again relegation when things had been so promising at xmas.

Stelios Haji-Ioannou is best known for setting up EasyJet.

He took the successful Airline as far as he could before getting the boot!
More experienced executives took over and moved the organisation up to the next level.

Brian is in the same bracket. He has done a fantastic job but appears to have gone as far as he can. He needs to "Move On"
We need a manager with a bit of nous and a plan to move forward.

At least Adkins isn't afraid in blooding youngsters and didn't choose players because of loyalty

Brenda wasn't afraid of blooding youngsters either...
I'm pretty sure Brian would be playing Luke Shaw if he was a Reading player.

Di Canio...no thank you. The blokes a clown who can't control himself. He thought it was ok to push a referee over.

Making a move for Gus Poyet might not be a bad idea. Esp. if it works as well as the last gentleman we acquired from Brighton.

Di Canio is far from the answer. Bloody idiot subbed his keeper after 20mins when he made one mistake!

We need someone more famous with contacts! Someone who can attract players to the club.

He's got no management experience - what's the point of that?!

Who was that bloke who was at Barcelona last season, wonder if he'd be up for a real challenge?

Seriously, get a grip lads - how much do you think some of these managers would want? And anyway, they wouldn't come once they found out the budget available to them. The blame lies with TSI fair and square in my book - they clearly didn't give McD enough money - so McD has had to make do and mend basically. As I said on another thread, maybe this one, they're all blending into one at the moment - you can't make a silk purse with a sow's ear and if you think anyone else could have done much better with the players and their limited abilities then you're not living in the real world.

And Tina from Tilehurst needs to fook right off - she has no idea what she's talking about. Why do BBCRB give her air time!

This is the same TSI that were apparently going to let Brian spend 10m+ on Sigurdsson and/or 7m+ on Ince is it? Suggests to me that if Brian had instead said I need three more players for a total of 10m that they would also have backed him

Apparently being the operative word. We could say we bid £80 million for Ronaldo, doesn't mean a) we had the money or b) we ever had a chance of him coming here.

I strongly believe it was all lip service.

WHY do you think McD didn't buy 2 or 3 £3 million pound players? Do you HONESTLY believe he thought what he already had was good enough? :|

I think he didn't because he was trying to get a £10mil player - if he'd have bought 2-3 £3mil players he wouldn't have had the money for that would he. Maybe not the right decision, but it seems that was what he was trying to do. I don't think it was lip service - just an opinion tho :)
