John Madejski's Wallet Blackman really is utter gash. He has absolutely nothing about him that leads you to think he's actually a professional

Just what is Adkins' obsession with him? It's worrying as he doesn't seem keen on hunty or Alf

What did Blackman do wrong this time? :|

From what I can recall he came on, won the ball a few times, offered a physical presence, and won a couple of corners. Certainly no less than Superalf.

Lol, "The attitude and application of the players has been first class" is definitely the Adkins soundbite. How many times has he said it now?

MmmMonsterMunch Glad all the BBCRB team pointed out how ridiculous it was for Jobi not to be nominated for POTS. Embarrassing.

Why, I think he's had far better seasons. This season he hasn't played that well but unlike a lot of fans I think he is a good player.

maffff Get us a left back and we have the base of a very good team here if Adkins can keep this going.....

This... i think gunter looks poor and even dropping down a division i can't see a vast improvement, get a Left back in and move Kelly back to right side and our back 4 should be fine for next season

:| Gunter's been completely rejuvenated since Adkins came in. He'll be one of the best right backs in the league next season.

agreed - still a bit naïve though but im sure he'll get better and it'll help If he stays in the wales team too

What is Gary Rose on the bbc on about - completely outplayed is a bit strong. Yes, Man City were better but "completely outplayed us"?, definitely not. Its obvious he didn't watch the game.

Yep, Alf did naff all and we created little. Blackman just looks like an average championship/league1 player at best. Nothing about him looks to have any sort of quality

I thought we played well considering our opposition. McAnuff, HRK, Gunter and Kelly were all average. Pog missed a sitter yet again (from my angle anyway) - am I the only one who doesn't rate him at all? Guthrie and Jem were both fantastic as was McCarthy.

Another game where we could have huffed an puffed for another 90 minutes and still not put the ball in the net against a very well drilled and strong Citie side.

The passing game is here to stay with Adkins in charge which is good news but can he make the right signing in the summer to push us onto the level required to get back to the Premier League at the first attempt?

Happy to be proved wrong but he is currently the Blackman of right backs at the moment.

You thought last nights performance was rejuvenation? The guy is scared to run down the wing, his most competent pass was back to McCarthy. Kelly will serve better as a RB over course of the season. Regardless of this, we need a LB asap

We were playing last year's champs, so you can forgive him for being a bit scared to over commit. He was shit earlier in the season, and has been decent since he got back in the team. He's already proved himself in the Champ, so there's no reason he won't shine again next season.

Nope, I think he's awful and very much hope a club is foolish enough to give us money for him.

got to it when the keeper was about a yard away from him. did well just to get in front of his man and direct it goalwards imo
