Back to back wins for the first time in the league for Clarke. Lovely stuff. He's continued to improve the defence and started getting the balance back to the attack as well. Good job. Two wins and things start looking rosy, 10 points clear of relegation now, and only 11 off the play offs, which would be a step too far.

Fcuking have some of that!!!!!

It just proves what we knew all along - that team is more than capable of competing for a top 6 place.

Can't wait for next Saturday now. I really reckon we can progress.

Steve Clarke you are impressing me - I doth my cap to you good sir.

FFS we were only 11 points off a playoff place a few minutes ago. Wish Adkins had gone sooner this season could have been so different.

A straight 10 wins should do it. :)

Oh do shut up Ian FFS. At what point did I say we have a chance of play offs in that post?

I said that team is more than capable of challenging for top 6. It's abundantly clear we left it too late to sack Adkins & can't do it now. Christ fella.

WNG. Don't start looking up, just keep plugging away and be satisfied the bottom isn't getting closer. This season, and maybe even next season is about treading water so we can have the set up and readiness to go back up and stay up for a while.

Enjoy a stress free season of probably mid-table with plenty of promise for the future. It's a new experience after all.

We were never a top six team in any shape for this season.

I agree we left it later than we should but two or three more wins and we won't be far away

I enjoy the fun and excitement of supporting Reading. I don't need a promotion chase every year to not be a miserable bastard.
