Yeah, not a good sign to have three players arguing over who takes it. When that happens, you deserve to miss.

3points bollox

Sa out

How much did we pay for a guy who can't even beat the keeper with a penalty?

Cox should have taken it - he won it.

Cox missed from 3 yards, so that wouldn't have helped.

Would have been irrelevant if he had taken and scored the penalty.

You've missed the point. If Cox can't score from 3 yards, he's not going to score from 12 yards.

Sa played well (apparently) ........

But, why take it? Why risk it? More pressure on him than on Cox. Cox has more to prove and more reason to score. God damn it.

It sounded like a decent performance and given we actually get a real winger in we could do okay.

Fully agree with those sentiments. Nominated penalty taker (and reserve) prior to game. In the unlikely event that neither are on the pitch or don't want to take it then the captain decides without any prior arguments.

There were some pretty good clues as to what sort of attitude we could expect through his social media presence.

People have mentioned that he may potentially be a tad arrogant, that's all I'm saying.

Oh well.

I'd rather we lose than take any point from a game in which Nick Blackman scores.

Pretty much every time we've argued over who gets the pen it's been missed.

Glenn Murray @ Hillsborough last season immediately springs to mind.

Blackman scores 46 goals (minimum), we get relegated, sell him for £20m profit. It's win win. Kinda.

Why did Clarke play Tshibola? Why did he drop Ferdinand? For me the two biggest mistakes today. Hector will be good and he would be better as a defensive midfielder given he makes so many mistakes. At least there its less likely he will give a goal away. Oh and what an end! Cant think why I was looking forward to the start of the season

Tshibola was good. Ferdinand was dropped for Mcshane, who was also good.

I don't follow the logic that Hector would make a good defensive midfielder, because he makes a lot of mistakes.
