I couldn't care less what you or others think of me, because I know you're wrong. Anyway, fact is Sunderland are now only 2 points behind us and next Saturday we're playing Man Utd at home. After they battered Newcastle yesterday, I think it would be correct to say it'll be a tough game.

According to RR, on balance, you'll be ok.

I think he has your balance after 2 bottles of white, Lindie.

This is going to turn into one of those Tag Team threads that RL and Schards specialise in soon isn't it?

I'm off.

Edit: Oh, great, with Tredder as the comic turn. I'm definitely off now.

If you really want to annoy RL just remind her that Schards hairline is receding even quicker than RFC's chances of staying up.

Very few people have denied that we have a major problem on our hands this season,

I actually strongly disagree.

There exists a group of very 'vocal' posters who refuse to allow almost any debate on the issues of the side. Yes, there's over-reaction after defeats but stopping/trying to stop even 'reaction' to a defeat really, really doesn't help.

I would suggest that there exists and equally vocal group in more than equal measure who refuse to entertain the notion that we are a well-run club who are, on balance, likely to stay up and that the long-term future of the club is probably in the safest hands in the country.

Your humour has a shelf life that's for sure.

It's a bit boring and tedious now old boy.

Your fishing trips are becoming a bit of an embarrassment.

Give up now while you're barely ahead.

Spend a bit more time with your son, he clearly needs it.

He's got more clubs than...who was it, Jack Nicklaus?

I am too busy justifying the huge expense of yesterdays trip to AV to worry about our extremely tense and almost certainly futile, relegation battle.

I'm sure it doesn't. Probably the reason for your relentless positivity today then? FWIW I'm positive as what's the point of being negative about something you love?
