A manager with half a brain (cue Roeder jokes) would realise that we are very weak against 5 man midfields, particularly if we are playing two slow centre backs against a team with any real pace.

Frankly unless SC decides to match this in the future I can't see us getting many more points this season.

Our odds will no doubt improve if Sheffield United manage to keep the win in the last 3 minutes!

Well - Brum have lost and we are still the only team who have automatic promotion in our own hands!!!

nonsense two teams will almost always have it in their own hands, other than goal difference

quick check, if wolves win all their games they will go up, fact, if Brum win all their games they will go up, fact, if reading win all their games they will go up, fact

Royal Rother
What a ridiculous division. A few well-chosen signings in January to correct a couple of obvious deficiencies and we'd be home and hosed by now.
Indeed. Everyone knows that when you make new signings, just slot 'em in and watch the surge in form - it's always worked that way hasn't it?

Funnily enough, a judicious signing is one of the few options available to a manager when he wishes to make an instant impression on fortunes.
Not making full use of the window is hurting us now, but hopefully we do have enough mental toughness to turn it around. Past omens aren't promising though, are they?

So if all three contenders win all their games, all three will go up automatically? Fact??? When did they change the rules?

I think goal difference is pretty crucial. Remember last season? Wolves and Brum have to rely on goal difference so it is not in their own hands. Reading do not have to rely on that! Fact! All academic of course if we play like s**t!

Erm, the top 3 do get to play a few games against each other, you know. :|

Wolves have to play Brum, so I am in fact correct.

maybe coppell thought we were good enough not to have to adapt to other teams, but go out and play our A game and win
unfortunately we are just failing to play even our Z game. he'll see that though, i just hope he does the right things about it and stops the rot

You are not right No 17. If Brum beat Wolves but both win the rest of their games Wolves are highly likely to finish higher with the superior goal difference. If we win all our games but lose to Brum we would end up one point ahead of both Wolves and Brum. Fact.

Said to rhyme with: please disregard anything I have to say in future, it's probably wrong.

good, maybe with a little pressure off, and the players knowing theve oxf*rd up, they can come back and prove that the first half of the season is their true class, and not this turgid poo theyve given us since jan
the players are seriously weak in the head, and they need to grow some bollocks

not giving up
just reluctantly lowering my mid season expectations, and in a huff

Reading are around 7/1 to win the championship on betfair, and odds against for promotion.
