So it seems a new striker should be high up on the list of priorities then.

Why no Mooney last night? Will this guy ever get a chance to prove himself?

So a guy who scored goals in the Championship last season gets to prove himself in training, but 2 guys who scored very few goals between them at League One level get to do it in a match? Now he might be injured or ill or whatever but just found it strange that he wasn't involved last night.

I'm quite prepared to admit that he might not be good enough for us, but surely he would have done enough to be involved in a pre season game against Didcot when we used 22 players!

Was last night the only game we're going to play in pre-season?

Scarface We definately need 2 centre halves ready for the start of the season. Apart from that no complaints.

to be fair i thought our forwards looked shit.

Was that just Long and Church....or are you including Henry, Kebe, Hal R-K etc in that?

Kebe and Henry i thought did ok, im mainly thinking of Church, Long and Bignall (i hope it was him).

In slight fairness to Church he wasnt that bad. Would have been good to see Mooney play.

Royal Rother
gazzer, loyal royal i thought Bozanic had a good game

I'm sorry, that can't be right. floyd__streete said he was crap for Woking in a game he watched last season.

Didcot of course being two levels below that at which Woking played last season, but never mind good try. Why not try attending a game or two ocassionally in which to form your own opinions, rather than selecting the spurious opinions of others which might suit your own agenda.

He was there if you look at the pics on the OS, as was Ivar, sitting with the second half 11 so may well have a knock.

Is he the one sitting next to Noel Hunt on the end?

I think he's got a knock. This picture looks like Rodgers helping him off after an injury

my overiding thoughts after the game were that Long looked terrible, as others have mentioned he has an awfull 1st touch, i don't care who you are playing you need to get into a groove, he can't just turn it on come 8th August. Long also played to often out wide or running the channels, he needs to learn that he does not have to be Kevin Doyle mark II, he just has to be his own player!

Thought Church looked promising up front, complete polar opposite of Long, good first touch occasionally he did get it stuck under his feet a bit, but he played nice and central on the shoulder of the last defender.

The lad on the right in the 1st half(Davies?)was lightening quick!

Good football for the most part played on the floor, pass and move stuff, but at times i felt we passed it maybe a little too much and we still look hesitant to have a dig at goal, whether this is just because last night was only a run out I don't know, but read my comment above about Long getting in a groove.

Good game last night. Scott Davies looked good a few seasons ago in the reserves and has developed his game well since. He is a great prospect for this season . Hal Robson Kanu played well and looked very confident on the ball. Most others did well , I know it was Didcot but I reckon we are going to do well this season.....well done Hunty...despite all said about him he gave his usual 100%.
