My mate is a saints STH for many years and had this to say about him:

He was our top scorer two seasons ago….he’s an average championship striker that scores lots of goals but he’s a really selfish player. Not very popular with the Saints fans because of this. He’s got a really weak shot but seems to be in the right place a lot of the time.

Rasiak would obviously be more the line holder and central striker. Agree that he and Hunt could bring the best out of each other.

You say that like he'd be good at being the 'line holder' when I just don't see it.

He's a goalscorer, a poacher, a slow fox in the box, not a player I'd associate with playing upfront effectively on his own.

The Poland international player impressed Pardew on Saturday when he netted two goals in the club's 3-o pre-season friendly win over Hearts.
