I've just read that article and I'm not very surprised by the whinging comments on there, the usual "£1 million is not a lot of money in football, is it?" guff.

It's that sort of attitude that could get the club into trouble. In the real world, a million is a fcuking lot of money.

I reckon with Zurab it'll be fee and wages being the problem. Maybe we should just wait and see what happens over the summer and try get him on a season long loan if nothing else turns up.

Another player who people rated in the past was Andrew Surman and there has a been rumour recently that he might be going back to Southampton. Could be worth a go as he was highly rated in the past.

Looks like we are going to pick up two pretty usefull full backs for nothing so won;t be out of the question to find a centre back.

As mentioned I also don't think the Zurab deal will fall over on the basis of a fee. It may be that Zurab is telling Blackburn he wants the last year of his deal paid p, so they are telling us we have to pay them the equivalent of that for them to release him. There is room there for 3 parties to compromise - he accepts less than he may be entitled to, they pay a bit and we pay a bit. But of course that isn;t the angle that will be put on the table at the beginning of the talks.
