That's a risky move and a slap in the face of the Mackems

Yep, can't imagine the Sunderland fan base will be too happy with that.

Why would he go from Sunderland to Stoke? Seems like a sideways move all things considered.

Depends on Blackburn and our goal difference after the match though.

Well if Sunderland have given permission for him to talk to Stoke then presumably they’d be happy to see him leave and then no doubt they’ll try to get Dyche.

I think I've mentioned this before but I got offered outside for a fight by a disgruntled Makem after our 2-1 victory up there in 2005. I say "after", it was about 8hrs after the match and at a petrol station near Scotch Corner.

The only other Sunderland fan I've ever known was in my Hall in my 1st year at university. He was an utter bellend.

It would be very amusing to go top and still be one of the bookies favourites for relegation

Just checked and we are now joint favourites to finish bottom, with Birmingham, so it’s an improvement lol

Contractually they had no choice. They have also offered him a new deal.

Saw that. Guess it must be fore a club in the same league or league above which triggers it.

Rino already benched for cardiff

Pne 0-0 again - ridiculous. Not had a shot on goal either today so far

Wonder if Russell Martin starting to get a bit nervous.
