Of the pre-season relegation favourites:

We're top of the league and looking good
Rotherham look very good

Drink it in. It might not last long, but it's been a while. Enjoy it.

Man City came from behind to win and Liverpool scored 9.

Let’s all admit it, these are our rivals now.

If Rotherham win their game in hand at Coventry they go above us.

Ince out.

I hate whichever team gave them that high goal difference.

We'll be promoted by the time it's rearranged.

Us Hull and Rotherham in the top 6 early days I know but experts will expect the cream to rise to the top.

Maybe quite fortunate that we have a midweek game considering Stoke is a week today - wouldn't have wanted to have played them as Neil's first game but I anticipate they will be coming to us in better spirits next week, depending on their result during the week.

A Sunderland supporter wrote I would like the club to show some ambition and try to tempt Graham Potter from Brighton.

Seems laughable, but surely we have to be convincing managers (and ourselves?) that we are top 10 Prem potential, and Potter has surely taken Brighton as far as he can.

That must be a joke right? I mean tongue must be firmly pressed against cheek else if not, that is some grade A stupidity right there.
