Situation with Coventry could be pretty difficult. Wasps don't actually own the stadium (that's still the council) but own Arena Coventry Limited which is the entity that has a long lease on the property and the right to run the operations of the stadium. That includes a sub-lease to CCFC. With ACL going into administration technically the council could terminate the lease that ACL has. However, the council will likely allow CCFC to continue to play games there.

The challenge will come though from the administration of ACL. The suppliers to the ground (e.g security, beer, food, staff, etc) will all be owed money and may refuse to continue to provide goods and services to ACL. Without those services the football club will probably not be able to continue to play there (e.g. for safety licensing reasons, etc). It happened at Worcester RFC that the operating licence was removed. Now, the council may decide to step in (as it has done previously) just to settle the situation down, especially for CCFC.

Also, CCFC has its own financial difficulties that were not helped through missing the first few home games of the season and having to pay extra to stage matches away from the CBS Stadium. Put a big hole in their cashflow apparently.

Although I think they made or were making some arrangement for compensation with Wasps that may or may now not have been paid…

Mid Sussex Royal I believe after the recent sackings etc that Ince is already in the top 10 of longest serving managers in the championship

Already Paul Ince is 46th in the longest serving manager table for the entire PL & FL.

He is now the 11th longest serving in the Championship.

Mark Robins (2017) is the longest serving in the Championship (and 6th overall).

Juergen Klopp (2016) is the longest serving in the PL.

Harrogate’s Simon Weaver is currently the longest serving manager in the FL having been appointed in 2009, Gareth Ainsworth (2012) is second and John Coleman at Accrington (2014) is third

Have to go some to beat the world record for a professional football club manager which is held by Auxerre’s Guy Roux who clocked up 44 years in the job!

Following the departure of Mr Bruce from WBA Paul Ince is now the 10th longest serving manager in the Championship:

  1. Mark Robins - 5y 7m - Coventry City
  2. Gary Rowett - 3y - Millwall
  3. Nathan Jones - 2y 5m - Luton Town
  4. Nigel Pearson - 1y 8m - Bristol City
  5. Leam Richardson - 1y 6m - Wigan Athletic
  6. Russell Martin - 1y 2m - Swansea City
  7. Dean Smith - 1y 2m - Norwich City
  8. Paul Heckingbottom - 11m - Sheffield United
  9. Ryan Lowe - 10m - Preston North End
  10. Paul Ince - 8m - Reading

Division very close this year it seems, even the bottom 3 aren’t terrible. Be interesting if someone’s form falls off a cliff as otherwise that points tally for safety is Going to be pretty high

Yes - was thinking that, there's no Peterboro/Barnsley sides this season or massive points deductions....reckon atm 50 points is the minimum requirement.

At half time Wigan were 6th (we were 7th) but ended the day 13th and will be 14th if Watford win later

Next 4 away games before the WC look challenging to say the least, Bristol city and Preston at home look like must wins already.

Exactly.....Only 9 points between us and relegation....some of those games look really worrying.

We’re already half-way there.

Where did you think we would be a couple of months ago?

Survival is all we wanted…forget the play-offs etc

We”ll survive

Still annoying when you get into a good position and then it all goes down the tubes!

What on earth happened at Sheffield United. Seems to have been another battle of Bramall Lane. Blackpool ended with 8 players and United with 10 with 2 players walking after a mass punch up at the final whistle. United also missed a penalty in a 3-3 draw with Norwood hitting a 97th minute equaliser. Starting to think the superb team that was Sheffield earlier this season is now flushing itself down the bog.

Do think we are partially to blame for that as too often we stand off the opposition and allow them to dictate the play. It’s odd considering how well we did against Blackburn engaging high up the pitch.

Whilst there are better teams than others in the Championship, I think we’re giving very mediocre teams too much respect. Which, for me, is why I’d like to see Long start as he massively hells in that regard

How important is Piroe for Swansea? He got sent off in their last game so he'll miss Tuesday.

It was mentioned in the match thread and an appeal is being considered.

I certainly think there's an element of that. "Allowing" opposition to start on the front food just builds their confidence, all of a sudden when you surrender possession and let them have the ball, they feel more comfortable on it and are more likely to grow as an attacking threat. Then going a goal down, we all know how hard it is to get back into the game, although admittedly overall I think we've done better at that this season than in years gone by.
