windermereROYAL Us and Wednesday are seriously suffering a play-off hangover, kudos to Fulham for flying the flag.

tbh, Fulham had a major meltdown as well at the start of the year.

Fair play to them for turning it round. Would have liked us to have tried to nick their manager round about Christmas time.

They are a very decent side. I think they'd have given Wolves a decent run for their money had they woken up a month sooner

Agreed. Made some very decent signings too. Aleksander Mitrovic on loan from Newcastle is looking like a masterstroke - scored 5 in 7 games.

And keeping sessegnon was key aswell... although he will deffo leave in summer.

Derby haven't had their annual meltdown yet either .

They've won one in their last 9 games. Still in the play offs but I would consider that a bit of a meltdown

They are currently 21st in the Championship form table (below us).

If that isn't a wobble then what is?

blimey, did not realise that. normally I associate them with being 2 or 3rd and then not winning for about 3 months and ending up 10th,

They haven't won in 7. I'd say that was pretty bad

I am sure everyone has a Fulham supporting friend who you cannot talk footy with. They are up there with the worst supporters. Very annoying as they play decent football.

Never liked Fulham since they stayed up at our expense, dislike Portsmouth for basically giving them the win in that game.

I think that would only apply if they were signings. ie Aluko's fee would be spread over the 4 ( : ( ) years of his contract

Yes, that's true. Essentially, apart from wages, a player is "free" in FFP terms if he keeps extending a contract. the only case where the FFP would be affected by a contract extension is if there was an "option to extend" built into the original contract - as I understand it, whether FFP per year cost is spread over the initial length or the "extended length" boils down to who has control over the extension - the player or the club.

It's worth noting of course that actual losses and FFP losses aren't the same thing. If some of those losses arise from subsidising an academy, etc, they won't count.

Not FFP but interesting*

Leeds owner speaking about Wolves

https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leed ... i-14381998

"We have our own problems but we should play in a fair competition," he began.

"Not legal and fair let one team owned by a fund whom has shares in the biggest players agency with evident benefits (top European clubs giving players with options to buy ..why the other 23 teams can’t have same treatment ? We should play all 24 with the same rules and opportunities (it s enough to google it) @EFL ."

EXPRESS& STAR
Wolves have admitted there is a risk of "financial and operational" sanctions as it emerged debt at the club had quadrupled to more than £23.8million for the last season.
Villa chief executive Keith Wyness has stoked up controversy surrounding the Wolves-Jorge Mendes links - tweeting a link to a story about the sacking of Paul Lambert hours before an EFL board meeting today.

SOUTH WALES EVENING POST
Cardiff City's debt currently stands at more than £115m, it has been revealed.

NOTTINGHAM POST
Nottingham Forest's latest accounts show a debt of more than £19m to Fawaz Al Hasawi.

HULL DAILY MAIL
A Hull City supporter has been issued with a three-year banning order from attending any event at the KCOM Stadium following his protest against the club's owners Assem and Ehab Allam.

It surprises me I haven’t mentioned it before.

I live near Fulham, know lots of fans, they are all pretty much middle class, football know nothing twats, the stadium is utter shit, the cnuts over charge like money isn’t a thing and they keep winning.

I hate them almost as much as Wolves. And that is saying something.
