Chaney
Kitsondinho I'll take 0-0. Still in with a shout of Automatic.

you can see Norwich dropping 4 points?...prepare for the play-offs

Yes I can see them dropping 4 points. I'm not saying we'll do it, but it is still an outside bet. Why give up on it now? Stranger things have happened!

Leeds had us completely figured out. Doubled upped on our wingers, and closed down our midfield and we were resorting to the long ball which wasn't working at all tonight, Noel really struggled to hold up the ball. McAnuff and HRK were very disappointing, and although I do think we missed Kebe, I do think he would've found tonight tough too.

Credit to McCarthy though, made some top saves.

FiNeRaIn Absolute HORROR show of a performance. We're out of the running for automatic now so we can enjoy the last few games until the play-offs. Not sure who I want tbh.

You're such a fecking tool.

Being in the play-offs is more than any of us could have wished for 6 weeks ago!!

Get your feet back on the ground!!!

What's 77 minus 73 Jay?

My mistake for thinking we were now 3 behind. But as said above, no one expected play-offs and they are nailed on! 8 wins in a row and taking a point at Leeds when they are as competitive as they are and still dick heads on here aren't happy.

Some people will never be happy.

We missed Kebe tonight. Any idea how serious his injury is/how long he may be missing?

The result is not good. It may be fair, it may be hard earned, but it isn't good.

One of the worst games I've seen us play in a while tbh.

McCarthy fully deserved MOTM - he kept us in the game.

We really, really missed Kebe

I wouldn't have given us the play-offs a few weeks ago, so I'm happy enough, but 2nd should have been there for the taking, so it's galling we didn't seem to turn up today. Plus, 2nd grand child is due on the play-off final weekend - so I'm hoping he/she is a few days early or a few days late!

I can't understand why we were so negative tonight. We kept passing back all the time. Too negative.

Leeds snuffed us out tonight and were just better in the 2nd half. 8 wins on the bounce or not, a play-off contender away is going to be a tough game.

Tbh, only one team on the pitch deserved to win the game...and that team wasn't ours. We were completely outclassed, and out worked, in every aspect of the game except for goalkeeping. So in a sense a draw is a good result, it was the desired result and now solidifies a play-off position, even if it is the death knell for an automatic. We are now in a group of four very good teams, only one of which will get promoted.

And Leeds's home record is not bad, is it?

You don't get it do you? No one is suddenly unhappy with the season or in general, they are unhappy with the performance tonight. We had a chance to catchup with Norwich, played abysmally and scraped a point. This doesn't mean suddenly everyone hates the team and are unhappy, its simply being realistic. I'm delighted we'll be in the play-offs. But please don't address this as a good point and please don't go talking about the previous games as BMD always says " one game at a time". A point was useless on the scale of things as we are a cert for the play-offs.
Poor performance, undeserved point. Start building up for the playoffs as thats where we will be in a few weeks.

Well that was a truly crap performance, believe me i am more than happy with playoffs but tonight, for some reason, has really wound me up!!!
we just seemed to give them the ball all game and sit back. When we eventually got it they pressured us all over the pitch and made us hoof it straight back to them and we just didn't do this.
The midfielders just seemed to have no idea and gave the strikers nothing to play with, total credit to Mcarthy for keeping us in the game.

Sorry rant over!

Ah bless.

When you put it like that I now realise I'm over the moon at the fact we were rubbish and dropped two points tonight. Hurrah!

I know but we had nothing to lose by going for it and kept going backwards. Credit to Leeds they played really well and that partly explains things... I dunno just thought we could really have given it more of a go.

Doesn't the fact that you have to edit my quote to remove the context in order to make your point tell you something?

Well played McCarthy and well played Leeds, I suppose. 0-0 is a good result really, although it is the end of the childish fantasy we were all having whereby Reading would win all their games and go up automatically.

Mills was good as well, as was HRK, but hopefully all the premiership scouts were watching, becuase none of the superstars performed.

Got to be a big concern that we've failed to show up against a top team again. Our record against the top 6 isn't too great at all...
