Ian Royal Arse.

Oh well. Still in the play offs bar a big feck up. That's a good result for the season.

^^ this.

Yep certainly is, If someone had told me at the start of the season we would of still been in the hunt for a automatic promotion spot with 3 games left to go I would of told them to stop being so stupid. What ever happens now this team will have exceeded all expectations. If we go up then brilliant but I don't mind staying at this level for a few more seasons if these end of season runs can carry on.
Still bring on the play offs and hopefully a nice trip to wembley.

^^ and that.

I think it's also the first time we've lost having scored the first goal.

Got cocky. Got punished.

Simple a run of 3 cup games and McDermots record in these games got to be in with a great shout, I think Norwich's 5-1 win against Ipswich on thursday really killed any chance of second and the players need picking up.

Got cocky? It didn't sound that way at all.

We got beat by a team fighting for their lives and were more up for it then we were. I'm sure we were a little guilty of relaxing at 2-0 but cocky? No.

I honestly feel less bad about this now that Norwich are back in 2nd. With Cardiff in 2nd it would have been possible for us to be 2nd on Saturday, but now that's not going to happen.

We do need to win at Coventry though (mainly because I'm going).

It changes everything! It undoes all the good results we've had lately.

We're suddenly out of the play-offs?

McDermott out.

Of course I'd have taken this position at the start of the season, but we've all been talking about momentum going into the play-offs and its importance. It looked like we could go into them after 11 wins out of our last 12. We'd have been the team that nobody wanted to play.

Now we've just squandered a 2-0 lead at home to a poor Sheff Utd side who will still be relegated. I'm sure they were fighting for their lives, but any side we meet in the play-offs also will be. I'm worried that we've just had the wind taken out of our sails. The next 2 games are very important for confidence. Nobody wants to go into the play-offs on the back of 1 point from 4 games, but win our next 2 and it's not all bad.

Being 5th instead of 4th doesn't bother me, although if 3rd end up taking QPR's spot then this result could have huge implications.

 Heart attack City.

I saw that it had gone 2-1 before I left...but I never thought they'd give up 2 more. We were all over them early on. No heart attack but I got, to use an Italian term, agida. :x

Sounds like we got complacent. Need to get the point at Cov, regroup and make a push for wembley/promotion. Perspective is the key word at the moment, FA CUP quarter final again, and most likely in the play-offs. UUURRRZZZZZZZZ

yes please let this be the "blip" and have us win our next 5. Hard not to see vestiges of the 09-10 season where we could have gone up on the last day and then that loss carries into the playoffs. Need wins and momentum...

Match threads is cheating. That's just too easy, especially with a high scoring disappointing result.
