M Brook After tonight's result in East London, if we now win 2, draw 2 and lose 1, WHU will have to win all four of their remaining fixtures which aint gonna happen.

Anyone who has seen how West Ham have played the last 2 games will know that them winning the last 4 games is remotely possible. Vaz Te has been awesome. They are going to be fighting to the death and have the characters in the team to do it. At least 2 points needed in our next 2, hopefully 3 (from somewhere) and I will feel a little better. I wouldn't count either Palace or Forest being 3 point pushovers.

Its also quite possible they could lose all four! Don't be fooled by their performance at Oakwell - Barnsley are v poor. Current odds - post WHUvBrum - for a top two finish are Saints 1/10, Reading 3/10 and WHU 8/5. We'll be fine and celebrating promotion after we beat Palace.

Not quite right. We would have to win 3 and draw 1. At present WHU could get 88 points, so we would need another 10 to be one ahead.

they have 2 at home and 2 away - away they are getting good results, but at home they are awful and it wont be any easier with Brighton next and Hull at end of the season

exactly

Reading 2-4
Barnsley 4-0
Birmingham 3-3

scored 9 is good, but conceding 7 in 3 games is pathetic - weve conceded 9 in 14 games!

Rouge - would like to see 5th - 24th eliminated from the Rougeometer seeing as we are guaranteed a top 4 finish and to separate out the 4 remaining individual places.

Although tbh at the next update it could well be 3 places we can finish.

On paper WHU and Southampton have the harder run-ins as most teams they'll be playing have something to play for (top six place, avoiding relegation). I include Leicester, Hull, Bristol City and Coventry in that. Birmingham, Forest and Palace will have nothing to play for. However, history tells us that this is irrelevant in the case of Reading! I'm certainly not counting any chickens yet. We need to avoid giving WHU a sniff of a chance and that means getting a point on Friday night. I just hope we can keep our key players (Roberts, L'Wood, Harte, McAnuff, Pearce, Gorkks, Fed, Kebe) injury-free.

Why do you care about the difference between finishing 3rd and 4th? The Rougeometer deals in real, meaningful measures.

Only if you know who is finishing 5th or 6th, which you wont do until the last game of the season anyway. :|
Trying to dictate how The Rougeometer works is like telling God to make the world bigger and build more mountains.
