a game saved by the ref and the yeovil players who started flying into rash challenges as we pushed for the goals.
was pretty entertaining after that.
should have finished them off, but when you have 8 players just sat in the box its quite hard to get through.

oh well.

reckon drenthe deserves some sort of start. he makes things happen.
like him alot.

Royal Ginger What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course you can get fit on the training ground.

You can reach a certain amount of fitness but its not the same as match fitness in a proper competitive game. Any professional player will tell you that

Drenthe said something weird on twitter along the lines of "I don't want to talk about why I've not been playing - that will come out later..."

Victor Meldrew Also Dellor didn't ask Adkins again why ,for these past 2 games, we lump the ball forward against 2 commanding centre-backs

Dellor probably afraid to ask Adkins anything contentious after our paranoid manager accused Dellor of running a campaign to remove him from his job :!:

Sadly, this isn't even the most bizarre comment that Adkins has come up with this season :|

Out of interest, how well did Obita do without the support coming from McAnuff?

He's been concentrating on finishing the Mission Burrito challenge three times a day, every day, since the beginning of October.

Yep, Drenthe can absolutely do one. A more expensive Mass Sarr, basically. Drenthe is a dopey prat, best summed up by his insistence on repeatedly crossing from deep against 10/9/8 men who were more than happy in dealing with this approach.

The clamour for this fat waste-of-a-wage to start against a Brighton side who will likely overrun us in midfield is unbelievable :!:

Thought he looked good when he came on. Enjoyed watching him the other day against Blackburn too. Something ain't right but his skill is immense - can't help wanting to see him given a real chance - probably be better off through the middle rather than on the wing, though.

Extended-Phenotype Thought he looked good when he came on.

He won a soft looking penalty (fair play to him for that) and achieved little else of substance.

Oh well, everyone sees things differently I guess - I thought he had some good looking runs and moved the ball around well, creating the odd half-chance. Not saying he was brilliant but he got MOTM didn't he? Couldn't have been that bad.

I like him.

I thought he was involved in the goal as well.

He looked much more dangerous coming inside and making the defenders panic, but that's how you break down a team defending like that.

Oh look, another cross down Duffy's throat.

He also had a shot that forced a very good save out of Stech.

He did more in his time on the pitch than the rest of them managed over the course of the full match.

It was his pass to Alfie for the goal. He also poleaxed their highly annoying number 15 with a lovely shot from outside the area which had me in stitches.

Scarface Don't get the Guthrie criticism

1. As Sandman said above, for all his fancy pings and passes, he doesn't actually create anything for the front two. We wouldn't miss him if he left in the Summer.
2. That pathetic haircut!
