Royalwaster Looking at Spurs and Pochettino's abject failure this season, you do have to wonder whether he inherited a very good team from NA that enabled him to succeed at Southampton ... ? The assumption so far has always been that Pochettino took Saints one step further than NA could have done, but looking at what he's tried to do at Spurs this season, you've got to wonder ....

Man Friday "Overachieved"? How is that even possible? You achieve what you achieve. You cannot achieve more than you are capable of. Typical stupid football fan-speak to suit an idiotic viewpoint.

AthleticoSpizz bit of a lol at the Parky voters
Anybody been tracking Bradford's mediocre results just lately?.....pretty much where we are, but a division below
a decent debut into management for the massive Colchester........but he hardly set the world alight for Hull nor Charlton

marcusopp There's no way we had the best players in the division when we were promoted, Wet Spam and Southampton were much stronger,

Psh, he had a cup run once too. Of course he'd do a good job for us.

I disagree mate. A good manager can can an average group of players into a good team, greater than the sum of their parts.

There's no way we had the best players in the division when we were promoted, Wet Spam and Southampton were much stronger, however our cumulative effort, overseen by McD made us a better overall team, hence.

McD was a victim of his own success. Had we not gone up, he'd probably still be here!
