Hoop Blah
GH Royal As far as we've been told, we're in for a summer of big changes being made to the current squad. So, if you could give Clarke a realistic list of 3 players you would love to see us sign (permanent or loan) and 3 players you'd hurry out the door (whether that be sell or release), who would they be?

I'll kick us off;

IN
Nakhi Wells
Jordan Ibe (loan)
Jed Wallace

OUT
Robson-Kanu
Nick Blackman
Ferdinand

You've said be realistic but then you've implied that someone is going to pay to take those 3 off our hands...

That was mean to be specific to the 3 players IN, to stop people coming up with ideas like 'CR7' and 'Steven Gerrard cos he's out of contract' blah blah..

Apologies for not being more specific!

Not sure why you think that when he's been on loan at Birmingham and Derby during the past 2 seasons. Only 19, probably too early for him to step up to a Prem team.

Pretty sure he's outgrown loans to the Championship now though.

He's had quite a good impact and played a fair bit since going back in January and so I can't see him being available.

The young lad who looked very good against the U18 or 21s the other year, Harry Wilson, would be good target though. Him, or a sneaky bid for Patrick Roberts from Fulham (obviously very very unlikely too unless they sell him and we loan him), to add some genuine trickery and creativity would be very interesting. I think Chelsea loanees are more likely though.

Can someone start a thread that shows a true reflection of who is in and out please. I hate reading this speculative dross. :D

You say be realistic then suggest Wells and Ibe. This isn't football manager where for some reason we always have a large budget.

Ibe for example seems on the verge of becoming a Liverpool squad player. He would never come to us.

Best recruit from lower leagues if you want value for money.

lol at Ibe coming to a struggling Champ team, he'll either be playing for Liverpool at on loan at a middleish Prem team next season.
Also think Chalobah will get a Prem loan move too.

Agreed with GH Royal, and have said in the past, Jed Wallace would be a very good transfer target.
If he doesn't move on from Portsmouth this summer you'd seriously have to question his ambition.

Dean Cox will surely be leaving Leyton Orient if relegated: transfer
Dele Alli on loan from Spurs?

Back up signing: As mentioned already, Solanke on loan would be a good addition to the squad, probably wouldn't be a key player though.
