LWJ
Ascotexgunner That is seriously one of the worst pieces of keeping I've seen for ages. Useless knob.

Are you at the game or watching a stream?

How disappointing

Well, Clarke has already proved that he is good at signing fcuking useless goalkeepers.

He has signed 2 this summer.

A good manager would have signed a decent keeper and we would now be 2 points better off. Small margins and all that.

Useless.

The major difference being Clarke's PPG is worse than Adkins.

Yeah, I can't ever remember Federici making a mistake.

Made mistakes yes, but Bond looks and sounds very very shaky.

He did that great pass to a Leeds striker just outside the box on Saturday but was saved by his defence (and probably the fact that the striker was so shocked to find the ball passed so perfectly to his foot!).

strap Just waiting for Clarke's excuses again. If we'd had had a striker worth the name, we'd have been home free well before the clanger.

Oh well, "we take the point and move on" - tell me again how Clarke is SO different from Adkins??

The only criticism of Clarke here is that we went 4-5-1 with 6 mins left to play. It invites them to have a go.

I think we're playing so much better than under Adkins but just need that win to push on.

Aside from that goal tonight, the only aspect of Bond's game that has looked shaky is his kicking. His shot stopping and commanding of his area (until 10 mins ago) has been absolutely fine.

Reading have good history with goalkeepers, Sal Bibbo gone and the donkey Beasant in and look what has happened.

The days of McCarthy, Federichi & USA seem light years ago.

Bit worrying though, we appear to have replaced an error prone goalkeeper with two more error prone goalkeepers...

At least Feds also demonstrated many moments of sheer brilliance and gained us far more points than he ever lost. Every time Al-Habsi has played against us he has demonstrated that he is an accident waiting to happen. Would still rather have Bond than him.

Get a grip.

Can't blame Clarke for that. We were well worthy of a win.

Keeper howler. Striker and wingers are coming. We will get stronger.

Jury still very much out on Clarke. 2 points from 9 means he's picked up from his abysmal tail end of last season. What's the point of starting four centre mids if the #1 you signed has less hand-eye coordination than Harvey Price?

By-the-by, Leeds have done exactly the same tonight, but from a two goal position in the final 2 minutes.

No-one has hit form yet, relax.

Just saying that the situation reminds me of the last time we tried to replace a keeper who did well for us with a keeper from Watford.
