TiagoIlori It’s not right to abuse people? These are human beings ffs

calm yourself, it's a football club not McDonald's drive through

Mate, I’m not having anyone claim abusing players is acceptable, doing it but admitting it was wrong is one thing, doing it and thinking it’s right is even worse

Deffo. Abuse is wrong and you lose the right to be called a fan then.

In other news......

Hughes gone. I would take him. Sack Stam and get him in

Because they were there :|

I don't see how just being at a game means you know McShane said something specific to the others. If he' physically ushered them off in obvious way, that would be something fans who were present could see. But knowing he said somethiing in particular, I find had to believe.
Hound
Going to highlight that - if JLow reports it, it’s pretty much certainly happened

what the hell are they thinking?

Yeah, if Low's reporting it it adds a lot of credibility.

Thanks for cutting out that I cited Low and then praising another nobber for doing the same...

I didn't cut it out, it's right there quoted in Hound's post clearly visible in your response. I moved it, to split it up from yourarsey initial response so I could respond to that first.

RoyalBlue
bcubed Don't think fans were supportive

And the song about passing it back (describing football the Jaap Stam way) was hardly endearing the fans to players or Stam.

Not surprised at McShanes reaction really

If you're not surprised by McShane's reactions, then it shows just how bad things have got. Completely unacceptable behaviour from the captain, regardless of what 'provocation' there might have been.

Do people really think that all those travelling supporters spent their time and money going to the game just to criticise the players?

Judging by current satisfaction levels and normal Reading fan behaviour... I'd go as far as 40% may have done.
