Brogue have we ever lost 7 in a row?

Bullivant/Burns season I'd say - we were getting dicked every week more or less!

Hound
Zip Lol @ those who had Moore as fifth choice can behind Holmes. You have got to be kidding. Holmes has been painfully exposed. He is a League 2 and if he improves a League 1 cb.

Well only because Liam Moore has also been horrendously bad

Holmes has been thoroughly exposed. Nowhere near good enough for this level. Slow, weak in the air and constant errors

I always used to think he was decent in the air. I was wrong. Always slow but dear God he really is out of his depth. I don’t think Moore was as bad as was being made out personally.

On a positive note no one has thrown away more winning positions than Bristol City. On a negative note, I imagine no one has turned around fewer losing positions than us.

Yeah, in the PL I'm pretty sure

7 straight league defeats in 1998 followed by 1 win then another 6 straight defeats. That’s the worst league run I can remember by a Reading team.

Jinx
Ascotexgunner Here we go. That keeper was on his arse before the shot.

Hardly the keepers fault - guy was 1 on 1, he made the initial save

I was right behind it - was a dreadful weak save. He was spilling them all in the warm up as well.

We lost 8 on the bounce in the premier league. Dont remember us ever losing 6 on the bounce at this level though.

Just once I would like to see us move the ball positively forward , with purpose and pace . Why not give it a try .

In fact that run of 6 defeats becomes 8 straight league defeats as Reading lost the first 2 league games of 1998/99 as well.

Rax ...just out of interest - how on earth was that allowed to stand - the attacker coming back from an offside position runs diagonally across the defender??

Yeh thought the same

Must be interfering

I'm glad you clarified that because he looks like another Virginia.

I keep thinking I'm used to it but I'm not

You expect the worst and deep down you know we're going down, but each goal against and each defeat still hurts

Absolutely pathetic. So so bad

Pauno surely has to go after this. Surely?

Last win Nov 27th, there can`t be a manager ever that as survived such a horrendous run, 2 points from 8 games before tonight.

Reading lost 7 successive league games in the PL in 2013, have never lost 8 PL games in a row.
