WestYorksRoyal From a selfish perspective, we should want Charlton to win as they will probably be right up there next season if they don't (admittedly I said the same about Bolton last season).

I wonder if Challinor and Wellens are on any Championship radars given the job they've done. It feels like Stockport and Orient are both punching above their weight; they could do again next season but it'll be harder with a different manager.

Thought similar about Peterborough last season.

Losing a key player or two, or even just loss of form can make a real difference at this level.

Agree Charlton are most likely to challenge again next season, so prefer to see the back of them.

On the other hand, Stockport absolutely had our number, so getting shot of them may also be good for us.

From an away days perspective, surely we'd want Stockport to go up so we keep the three Southern teams in the division

Then for AFC Wimbledon to come up from League 2

Lost Brum, Wrexham to promotion and Crawley, Shrewsbury, Rovers and Cambridge to relegation. That lot is about 700 miles in total away travel.

In exchange we’re getting; Cardiff, Plymouth, Luton, Bradford, Doncaster & Port Vale which are about 900 miles in total.

The combined play offs give us :

Charlton Athletic - approx 50 miles
    Chesterfield - approx 160 miles
Leyton Orient - approx 60 miles
Notts County - approx 140 miles
Stockport County - approx 200 miles
    Walsall - approx 125 miles
    Wimbledon - approx 45 miles
Wycombe Wanderers - approx 20 miles

So Stockport and Wimbledon for the play offs please!

Mind you if you wanted a trek Chesterfield would be another nice new ground to make the mileage more worthwhile.

Every game is a very long-haul for me so I'd rather focus on how competitive the league will be next season. On that basis I would think Charlton would be who we'd most like to see the back of. Don't know about the L2 teams though would expect Chesterfield to be the best option based on historic profiles of the clubs.

Last year, we saw 2 very strong teams come up. By contrast, I don't expect anyone coming up to trouble the play offs next season.
