Fezza In my book driving whilst under the influence is the same as attempted manslaughter

LOL

Internet access day at Broadmoor I see. Don't use all your weekly spends at once Fezza

I fail to see your point. If your drunk when driving a vehicle it is because you have made a concious decision to get in and drive knowing that you are breaking a law designed to save lives. Whether you have an fatal "accident" or not is immaterial, the risk is still there. The fact that Lee Hughes fled the scene makes him a sh*t but if I was really pissed and did the same thing I'm not certain I'd be thinking rationally either. That is why the law is there. I have no time for someone on Kitsons money who does this when they could very easily afford a taxi. The man is a Moron and should, if he was actually drunk, be made to give all his wages for the rest of the season to a charity for the victims of pissed drivers.

Don't drink and post

Fezza In my book driving whilst under the influence is the same as attempted manslaughter (if there was such a thing), just because you haven't done a Lee Hughes yet doesn't me you won't, by getting behind the wheel of a car when over the limit you are saying you'll take the risk with someone elses life (whether that be a person you run over or your family having to cope with you as a vegetable after a crash). Drink/Drugged driving = Utter C*NT.

That said if Kitson was sober and refused to take the test on principal then he is just about stupid enough that he deserves any punishment he is given!

Lee Hughes scarpered from the scene leaving a dying man.

Any comparison between this and what Kitson has done EVEN IN THE WORST POSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES is utterly ridiculous and totally inappropriate.

I fail to agree - but that's opinion for you!

Just because a man kills someone and then stops hand try's to help doesn't absolve him of the crime, neither in my opinion does getting away with not hitting anyone but still being over the limit.

I'm sorry if you don't agree with me, it is really just my point of view and there are probably a lot of valid reasons for driving when drunk that I am unaware of!

Running away from the accident is more of a crime than staying at the scene. It doesn't make you any less responsible but it does make you less of a twat.

Being a tw@t isn't a crime, killing someone whilst over the limit is. All i'm saying is that just because you've got away with it before doesn't mean you get away with it next time, you are a death waiting to happen, yours or someone else's.

I reitterate my point if you drink and drive you are a c*nt my father included!

According to the LAW leaving running away from the scene is MORE of a crime.

So actually yes, being a twat in that situation is more of a crime.

Tredder Banging on about a moralistic world etc.. and then gets arrested for drink driving with a court appearance next friday.

What a world, still, i bet not too many want his contract ripped up like they did Lita's.

Welcome back Tredder !

I think Kitson should be sent out to QPR on loan....... They will look after him

http://qprreport.blogspot.com/2007/12/q ... derby.html

Lets not forget QPR's infamous nasty video when they played China either - now that really was stupid.....what a sad cock you are Tredder

It would be far too easy to bring you in and throw you back but i'm beyond those days.

As for Kits, some would say this is Karma for belittling the greatest cup in the world, others would say, doofus.

yeah, of couse you're beyond those days, you superior being you, that's why you started a whole new thread......

shock horror,Reading do well, Tredder f*cks off. Finally something minor happens your like a shark smelling blood.

Kits made a mistake, but as yet there is NO proof he was drink driving as he never took a breath test, no boubt he would have had a bllod sample taken at the police station.

as long as he scores goals for the real blue and white hoops i couldn't really care

Until I know more I am not going to comment on his arrest but would like to ask about the FA quote.

Can anyone tell me the question Kitson was asked when he replied "...not going to win the FA Cup......staying in Prem more important for Reading...... I could not give two ***** about it"?

Please correct the quote as I am sure I probably have it wrong (well I have missed many bits out!!)

But my point it is what does it refer to? Was (as has been widely reported - and obviously would be as this was the story the press were after) he asked for his thoughts about the FA Cup as the "oldest and greatest" cup competetion in the world? Or was has asked about our 3rd round game which he know he would not be playing in?

His comment was specifically about the FA Cup "this season." His next sentence went on to say how much he loves the competition as a whole - that one never got quoted.

Fezza, I don't know how much you drink, but after a big night out - don't know if you do big nights out ? - , have you ever got in the car the following morning and wondered if you might still be over the limit ?

Lita has been a silly boy in the past.

Now Kitson has been silly (and possibly broken the law).

But I'm a little confused at the shock and outrage expressed by some on this board, bearing in mind that we're fans of the club where the inimitable Robin Friday was voted the best ever player and a cult hero.

I'm inclined to agree.

It would be like one of those incredibly odd internal prison newsletters
