bikey_is_god! USA said (pre-season) that he'd like to join the new Seattle team,

No he didn't, he said that was rubbish.

17 year-old forward Mitchell Bryant scored a hattrick for basingstoke in the cup last night.

Thanks for that WR. At this rate RFC have a real problem that we have too many good youngsters coming through!!! Nice problem though.

Apparently he was a Man Utd trainee before joining us. Got a m8 who went and he said he is shit hot. Could potentially play in the prem apparently.

Yes I have also heard that the club have very high hopes for him - but unfortunately 17 is a bit too early to be sure. Time will tell.

If he's THAT good 17 is not too early. But of course if he was THAT good he'd still be at Man U. So its all down to the Reading coaching staff to get the finished article out asap.

He's another very promising young'un. Hopefully this loan will do him the world of good. Coppell's already mentioned he's making himself noticed in training.

Good stuff. Hopefully one more we'll see soon.

That's one hell of a judgement based on a hat-trick at that level.

Not Really.

All he said was that he had the raw potential (i.e. pace, strength, skill) to go far.

From the reserve games I saw last year I actually thought he was better than Karacan.

Another fine prospect, who will get useful match practice.

He seems to score a lot. 10 goals for the Academy in 2006-2007 from midfield.

Just heard from a Woking supporting colleague that they have signed a Royals youngster on loan for 1 month ????? Spence.

I'm a bit out of touch with the Academy/Reserves - any info on this lad.

With Tom Hately joining Basingstoke on a month's loan, I make that 13 Royals players currently out on loan. Have I missed any?

Lita - Norwich
Robson-Kanu - Southend
Federici - Southend
Fae - Nice
Bennett - Brentford
Hamer - Brentford
Davies - Aldershot
Sigurdsson - Shrewsbury
Spence - Woking
Bryant - Basingstoke
Kettridge - Basingstoke
Hateley - Basingstoke
Illugason - Eastbourne (or has his loan ended now?)
