The whole year inn Does Kebe speak English?

If not he will improve even more once he learns I'm sure..

He didn't when he first arrived. He may have learnt since.

cmonurz
urz_1871 That performance from Kebe today should shut up a few posters for atleast a week.

Kebe was brilliant to day, im not getting carried away but you can see the lad has got talent. He's got the pace and was nice to see a few quality crosses and cut backs in the box.

Plymouth couldn't handle him today.

Lol at some Reading fans writing a player off only after a few games.

Great that he has played well today - long may it continue and maybe he just needs another handful of games to properly find his feet and then he could be a real asset.

But, isn't it equally 'LOL' to write Kebe 'back in' after arguably his first good game for Reading?

Good chance to build on his performance at Charlton next week who have lost 3 out of 3.

Alan Partridge I thought he was more than good today and actually reminded me of Seol just with a bit more pace, although I think Seol's end product is consistently a little bit better. I really do think having seen Kebe a few times now that he is either going to be atrocious (forest) or brilliant (today) and not a lot else in between. He has something there, something to work with certainly. Still chuckle everytime he gets the ball but one cross in particular in the 2nd half was superb, if only we'd had a 6 footer to head it in!

A 6 footer would have been wasted on that delightful low cross! It was well within the height of Doyle and Lita, just a shame neither could get to it.

consistently good in pre season
scored a couple of goals, looked decent vs villa, played better than most vs forest
best creative player yesterday
im not getting carried away, it was just a good start
but half of you lot going on about him not being better than a pub player have been made to look a bit silly

I am looking forward to bringing up those ridiculous posts in the near future.

I still don't know how anyone can call a player a pub player in so few games.

I agree as well, I remember saying he would come good earlier in this thread, but I'm just saying, one good game (infront of fans) is not enough to win over most. Plus Pre-season is a very different prospect to competitive games. He looked good at forest, and showed potential, but you can't say he had a great game, almost all of our players looked average

Especially liked the little move through two Plymouth Players, its a shame he couldn't get on the end of it
