West_Reading
Alan Partridge 5 points off the playoffs which highlights the incredible job Mark Robins has done there.

Sounds as though last saturday was their worst performance since he was appointed. That's the championship in a nutshell.

Exactly, which it makes it all the more frustrating when you look at how little advantage we've taken of the mediocrity of this league. It shows what happens when you dominate so many games but take nothing or very little from them.

Totally agree - think we're playing much, much better football this season compared with last season, but with no Doyle in the team it's showing ....

The team and management should get credit where it's due, and I think they have done for the result and parts of the performance.

It's worth noting that Robins made quite a few changes (especially attacking ones) on the back of their performance at Reading.

...I certainly think McDermott and the team have had more credit for the performance than Rodgers etc did for the games against the likes of Leicester, Cardiff and even Scunthorpe and Palace (where we were the better side until Federici threw a couple into the net). There was obviously one major improvement on Saturday though, and thankfully that's the one that really counts on the league table...we got the 3 points!
