Sutekh
LUX Not entirely true, if they lose both games and we win, goal difference is irrelevant.

Not really. Even if Rotherham lost both their remaining games 3-0 then Reading would still need to win by 3 goals or better at Huddersfield and to be honest I think most would accept that it'll probably be struggle to even get a shot on target at Huddersfield, let alone bag 3 goals. Still strange things do happen in football so who knows!

Why would 3 goals be needed if the above scenario unfolded? Because Rotherham have also scored 2 more than Reading so Reading would need 3 goals to get ahead on the goals scored value though I have no clue what the next decider is if two teams are level on points, GD, goals scored and head to head (so long as they don't aggregate the head to head scores)

Rotherham are only 2pts ahead of us.

This will finish 0:0, which is really all they need.

In a nothing game already relegated Peterborough beat already safe Blackpool 5-0 on the final day last season.

It's the hope that kills you.

I think that's a live table based on currently drawing, so a point more than if they lose.

Yes it is, didn't realise they'd kicked off already. Agree then that if they lose Reading just need to win but if they do get a point the above saga holds true!

It’s a rare error from the legend Sutekh, but away from that distraction, I agree with the posters who think our best chance is overhauling Rotherham.

I think Wigan will want to put a nice send off for their fans and Maloney seems like a good man who will want his team up for it.

So Reading playing a Huddersfield team who have been on a massive bender since getting a point to stay up on Thursday night, and Wigan overhauling Rotherham is our best bet.

Just need Boro to turn that possession in to goals second half.

Bit of a nothing position and watched it on repeat a few times wanting to slag of the referee, but can’t find a way.

Bloody Boro

That's that then. Rotherham are safe.
Kick about for a point for the second half it is.

I think we need to accept it`s over, yesterday a poor pass back and an oggy, today a red card. and we all know it`s going to be a tame 0-0 draw on Thursday, hello league 1, it`s been a while, how have you been?

Eternal optimist mode on - pressure now on Rotherham with fans expecting win against 10 men.

Set up perfectly for Boro to snatch it on the break.

I wonder if there's enough cover to make that a yellow; the Middlesbrough #26 may have got across quickly enough to have closed the space down. However, clutching at straws...

If it wasn’t over already it definitely is now. 1-0 Rotherham.
