I love the RFC report on the match yesterday. It finishes by saying it’s an impressive start to the season- really !!! Played 3 draws 3 and to be honest i think we have been far from impressive so far. I believe a fair few of the Championship teams are full-time and i wonder if we are at a disadvantage by being part-time.
Team yesterday
Orman
Dugdale
Houseein
Cooper
Wade
Hendrix
Mayi Kith
Estcourt
Longhurst
Woodham
Roberts
SUBS
Kite
Meadows Tuson
Elwood
Wilson
Kennedy
Cox
Rasmussen
Wade’s goal is on RFC Womens twitter.

London City Lionesses, yesterday's opponents, who now have Grace Maloney and Emma Mukandi in their ranks, are full-time professionals despite being independent and not linked to any big men's clubs.

We are now part-time which rather makes a mockery of all of the talk about encouraging equality and women in the game.

Last season Bowen said that Mr Dai was funding the women to a higher level than any other Championship club. He's certainly compensating for that this season with funding levels lower than some far smaller clubs.

Next up for the Royals is a home Championship game against Southampton this Sunday 17th KO 12 pm. This match is available to watch on the FA player.
Should be a good test for the Royals(3 points) against the Saints(6 points) who are amongst the divisions fancied teams to do well.
