Mid Sussex RoyalWestYorksRoyal Lot's of Twitter chatter about a consortium fronted by Bergkamp, Koeman and a few others looking for a club in L1/L2. You imagine we'd be a great fit with our location, facilities and academy. A good academy in particular aligns with the Ajax way these guys would be familiar with.
Pure speculation at this point obviously, but Howe did mention a new party coming to the table.
Stam back as manager then
Dennis Bergkamp, Dirk Kuyt and Henrik Larsson ‘in process’ of takeover at EFL club and one of the trio will become manager.
Larsson is expected to be appointed as the team’s manager as part of their plans while Bergkamp will be in charge of the academy, leveraging his experience from working in the Ajax youth system post-retirement. Jansen has also confirmed that Ronald Koeman will also be involved.

So, if they did take over at Reading it looks like the end of the line for Selles and Noel...

bcubed But we wouldn't really care who the manager was would we?! Securing the club exists trumps our preferences over management, by a distance.

Would be happy with this!! there's some pretty stellar names there and I'm sure the academy would be in good hands. My only concern is with a package deal of 4 big names who has the final say in things and can they all work together?
Other than that, "Come on you Orange and White Hoops"![]()

WestYorksRoyal We're probably too expensive compared to the options they're looking at. I bet loads of interested parties see us as a good opportunity and a potential bargain as a club in crisis. Then they contact our cnut of an owner, get given a ridiculous price and it's over.

Best way out of this is probably survive in this league and fend off administration til the summer, new owners come in and we start next season on -9 points....or whatever it is. League 2 will kill us.

rabidbee I thought the point (repeatedly made on here) is that only Dai can put us into administration, and only if he decides to sue himself for a fraction of the debt he owes to himself.
