And that's Wexham's league 2 revenue up to June 24. Goodness knows what this seasons revenue is and what it would be if they got to the Champ.
Financially they can. But you need to factor in that the other Championship sides already have Championship squads, whilst Wrexham still firmly have a L1 squad that was L2 last season. They have a hell of a lot of changes to make to be competitive, and buy a whole new squad is mega expensive, and rarely works. They just pad about 3 times Smith's price for a player who isn't really Champ standard.
