Will95 The mascot and some c**ts in the lower west started shouting out that Forest had equalised, a couple of people believed them and starting pushing on, some had to get on the pitch to avoid a crush at the bottom of the stand and others just assumed that the people on the pitch were right. Others wanted a go at the Burnley fans, but the stewards were pretty hands on with those guys (only pushing but they were proper shoving the guys out the way, almost knocked a couple over and these weren't small lads).
Taken from another forum so may not be 100% in context but that's what happened.

Green When we were at Elm Park, results didn't matter. You went on the pitch after the last game of the season, end of.

No that's not what happened.
The commotion did come from the Lower West, G8 as it happens. The culprit being only a few seats away from me.
People started celebrating nearby, including many of the Youth teamers who are situated in G7.
Many in the East stand and others around the ground obviously saw the celebrations and started celebrating themselves.
But there was no crush at the bottom of the West Stand whatsoever, that is nonsense. And it was those in the East stand that started a pitch invasion.

Yeh yeh the game's moved on you'll tell me, but I for one quite like it. You did it after cricket matches and that seems to work ok (even allowed on at half time).

As I said, out of context slightly, everything I said was from the East, where I was and pretty much everyone I know who goes was (obviously apart from what I stated was the Lower West). I certainly had a couple of mates who were getting crushed at the bottom of Y25/26 and had to jump on.

bcubedAvon RoyalMmmMonsterMunch Fcuking right they deserve it. The most embarrassing thing I've ever seen since supporting Reading full stop. I would wager that nothing else will ever top it TBH.
On the positive side, it probably won't ever happen again.
Rumblesticks were more embarrassing. "Bring it on" was more embarrassing. That Arsenal league cup game was more embarrassing. The "Judus" placards were much more embarrassing.
So a few people are making a few jokes at our expense and taking the piss, it's really no big deal. It will all be forgotten about in a week if we just let ourselves be part of the fun and not get too prissy about it.
+1

Having been at work today I take this +1 back
It has been very embarrassing indeed
I work with fans of Derby, Peterborough, Northampton, Watford and even Liverpool and they were laughing their socks off, or something like that

Pandoras Box Bollox and typical revisionist crap. East stand led the pitch invasion.
Most of east stand AWOL for the lap of honour. But hey let's pretend and only ever see photos of east stand y22-y26 support on twatter and fvckbook cos they're Real fans even though you don't see many at away games further than 30 miles away and you could see them streaming out at 90 minutes on Saturday. So let's get excited about Brentford and Leyton cos they'll be home for tea and biccies and Dr Who . Fux sake.
