The club have offered new deals to Karacan, Federici and Pearce.

More to follow next week....

Would be interested to see what happens at the top of League 1.

Joe Garner is realistically a player we could sign if PNE fail to go up! If they do go up I can't see him wanting to leave for us.

Ali from Spurs currently at MK Dons would also be an interesting loan signing!

Ian Royal IN
Striker
Left Back
Left Winger

OUT
Pogrebnyak
Robson-Kanu
Ferdinand

That's what we need prior to (hopefully) a clear-out of some existing first-teamers. Think we'll see several ins and outs this summer.

He's out of contract... No word of a new one, and it doesn't mean he'd sign even if we offered him one.

Not out of contract? Sure that was in maffff's list. Hopefully I'm wrong as I'd like to see him get a chance next season.

Why did he get a mention in the press conference then?

Charlie Watts has confirmed that he's got another year left on his contract. Good news.

I trust the management to spend wisely, BUT NO MORE O.A.P or HAS BEENS who ONLY USE THIS CLUB FOR RETIREMENT PENSIONS

Samuel was in the same situation as Gunter, we had an option to extend the deal without renegotiating terms.

(FWIW, I'd be reasonably confident that he'd sign a new contract if it had come to that, he can't go on trial or pass a medical whilst injured)

I'm sure I've heard of players completing deals despite being injured.

e.g Downing when he signed for Villa, wasn't he signed despite the fact he had a broken foot?

Just read the article. SC would not have made a statement about Samuel unless he rated him and had secured him on a new contract.

A request to the wiser more informed nobbers on here, when are we expecting the "goodbye and thanks" list I seem to recall that for the past few seasons it has been published by the club a couple of days after the season has finished.

Suggest trying to get Le Fondre back in the summer. Proven goalscorer averaging a goal every other game when he was here before.

I wonder if getreading.co.uk will try and extend it or look to replace him in the transfer window?

Anyone know where there is a definitive list of Reading players and when their current contracts finish on the web?

Just thinking it might be help to aid speculation as to which players might conceivably be able to be considered to be paid up and which youngsters we should be looking to extend current deal on.
