I agree with what Mick has just said.... I don't care about results if McDermott plays the youth in the last few games.

Give the young guns a run out now. I don't want to watch anymore Piazon, Vydra or anyone else.

RoyalinBracknell Frustrating to lose but sounds like we competed pretty well and were unfortunate to narrowly lose to a team destined for promotion. Not going to over-react to it.

The Williams/McShane incident is a bit more concerning.

Now is the time to overreact. Tomorrow on the BFTG thread is the time for a more sane look at matters.

Adie says that Brian is playing the loans because he needs results right now. I disagree. We don't need results if he experiments with youngsters.

We're fed up with these spineless idiots on the pitch. We just wanna see our youth now. I don't care if they lose. I wanna see what Josh Barrett and Aaron Kuhl can do.

Is Niall Keown available? If so I could see him getting some matches with Gunter injured.

Most of our better young players are out on loan at the moment to get relevant experience. People mention Kuhl and Evans but we've got lots of options in central midfield, most of which aren't on loan.

Should have been at the Madejski last night. You're answer on what they can do is not a lot.

sandman We lost to the top team in the last minute, sack the manager!

Current fan on air saying that we shouldn't get on the back of the players because it doesn't help and there's no point.

At Elm Park the south bank was always on the back of players and alot more vociferously than at the Madejski and as a result the players gave everything because they didn't want the shame of having the fans on their backs.

Dellor saying that Boro have spent a fortune on strikers this season and that Rhodes was a bit flat tonight. And signing these players hasn't helped them much. They are top of the league Timothy.

We need a more hostile atmosphere at the Madesjski from now onwards. The players have had it far too easy for far too long. We've kept quiet about their gutless performances all season. We need more of the South Bank back and giving these players some sh*t until they start performing. Perform or you get heavily criticised.

It's funny listening to McDermott roughing up Dellor.

Dellor's really not good at asking difficult questions. I think you need to get the interview going to begin with and then ask the tough questions decisively rather than stuttering through them right from the off.

Lost Reading Player during the McDermott interview. What did he say? Didn't sound happy with the initial question, then I lost signal

The punch up doesn't seem to be getting mentioned in the reports I have seen.

The comment was regards to Rhodes. Reading are lacking up front. Money does not guarantee success.

Different era. Those players were playing for a livelihood.

They wouldn't get away with these performances in front of the South Bank. They would get absolutely slaughtered...

The frustration on here tonight is not losing to 'Boro, IMHO it is about what we have been watching for this and the past 3 seasons.
BTW teams making a promotion charge win with goals scored late on -it's not luck and Brighton did the same last night.
We won those 2 games away at Brighton and Southampton when we were last challenging because we were on a roll.

No shame about tonight's result-the shame is that it has generally been another poxy season.
