Stranded Very satisfying to win from behind, something we've failed to do regularly over the past few years. When was the last one?
As for the red, poor call but ref's do seem to err toward giving a yellow when giving a pen if there is any modicum of doubt in their minds over the challenge.

Brogue Why was there no goal music? it’s a great decision if they’ve decided to scrap it.

The rules are quite clear, if they are deemed to make a genuine attempt to play the ball it`s a yellow, it looked like he was pulled back by the neck or shoulder.

Can be no doubt there was no attempt to play the ball.

Agreed but that's not my point.

I know the rule. My point is ref's tend to interpret it in a way that keeps the player on the park.
If Ince was brought down outside box it would have been red straight away but with the rule as is means refs do try and just give a yellow. Rightly or wrongly.

Brogue Thought it was this double jeopardy rule that you are punishing the team twice a penalty and a red card. Been around a couple of years I thought. If it had been outside the box it would have been a red as there was no penalty.

If he’d been brought down outside the box it would be a totally different scenario, for a start he woukdn’t already have put the keeper out of the game !
Interpreting rules to keep players on the pitch is nonsense, you punish the offence. This interpretation meant he gave Cardiff an unfair advantage as the. Should have been down to 10 for an hour.

Will be interesting to see that one again. Looked in real time like Hendrick was waiting for the ball to drop, swung and as he did Rino went diving in head first. Still a duty on the player not to endanger another player so probably right to be a free kick.
The incident right at the end where a Cardiff defender threw Ehitb into the boards was worse, totally intentional and no excuse of having his eye on the ball !
Yeah, that was some real thuggery. Ehitb looked pretty bright didn't he? Big fella too unless my eyes deceived me.
He’s big but he’s a decent player. I think he’s a better prospect than Clarke personally.
