Hound
NathStPaul Really hope Selles plays some of them in the league, they just need time. Serial losers such as Holmes, McIntyre and Yiadom need to win their places back imo.

Without getting carried away, roughly agree with this. Too accepting of losing

There has been a big element of just no confidence and in a rut. I think they can all come out of it with a decent run of games.

But this is exactly why so many of us (you included obvs) have been calling for the Academy players to be eased in to the side. They often play with real desire because they're having to try to prove themselves and are excited to be out there.

Ince screwed the pooch.

I reeeeaaally don’t want to criticise but Azeez sounds wasteful, again.

Yeah, the PTR endorsement has really been the kiss of death for Azeez's performances.

NathStPaul The most irrelevant game in recent memory, nobody in their right mind can give a toss. Play the youth team, get beat 4-0 and concentrate on Port Vale next Saturday.

Where did that come from? We smashed them.

Outstanding performance.

Biggest margin win in this competition?

Incidentally, we last won 4-0 or better on 4 July 2020, beating Luton 0-5 away.

Since then we've lost 4-0 6 times, 5-0 once and 7-0 once.

We did at least score 4 on 18 April 2022. But we also conceded 4.

How much Do they get for getting through the first round. Put it towards any bills due at the end of the month.

Reynolds United have done Wigan on penalties. Last 2 were shocking. So many players missing the target nowadays.

Big up our academy. Agree with those warning of caution, but at least 5 or 6 from tonight need to start. Carroll is not suited to Selles ball. Bench. Time to break up Tmac and Holmes. NGW hasn't done enough to justify keeping his spot. Yiadom probably stays, but these guys deserve a chance to show what they can do in the league.
