It is harshly early to be billing this fixture as a 6-pointer, but think it's fair. I'd take a win against anybody, but especially against the likes of Wigan and Derby. And it's not like the tables are that far from how they'll finish. The big boys are at the top, the weaklings (and Spurs!) are at the bottom.

watched the game on the box yesterday, and i could not believe how biast setanta were to the 'big' team, it was bordering on ridiculous. ' Reading won't be bothred about losing against Arsenal, because they lnow that they have to pick up points from the little teams like themselves' 'Pride and work ethic can only get you so far, and i think that now reading are finding they dont have enough quality to cut it this season', were two of the many quotes displayed by setanta, and it was mind-numbingly annoying about how whenever we did a good tackle or had a good shot e.g. Gunnarsons shot, they always claimed it has Arsenals mistake, and never a good Reading piece of play. Now i know that we were very defensive during the game and that we have been below par this season, but that is no excuse for these 'pundits' to be biast against us.

we are a little team. we were outclassed and whilst Bryn's shot itself was a good piece of skill, was it not a piece of Div 4 defending from Arse that ended up with the ball at his feet, rather than divine Reading FC skill

that said and on a bit of a tangent to your post...Garry Birtles is an absolute tool when it comes to bias against RFC in his commentary
