Current Loves: Kits and harps.....both refreshingly honest and.......well......nutters

Current hates: oster and gunnar......they are just always getting in the way of exciting talents...for example gunnar with fae and i predict that oster will be with kebe

Future Loves: Marek and kebe......Marek will be the new fabregas and kebe will score 15 goals in the last 12 games i can tell already

Future hates: both USA and ingi are starting to get on my nerves

londinium
Wax Jacket no real change for anyone I should imagine!

If bcubed hasn't changed his stance on Kitson then he is a bigger moron than I originally thought he was, and beleive you me, I thought he was an utter moron!

Kitson - not good enough for the premiership and lazy -ho ho ho

Leading English goal scorer I beleive, as for lazy!!!, don't get me started!

What I actually said

By the way I don't "hate" him I don't even dislike him, I just don't think he is quite as good as others think and that he hasn't proven himself yet. Thinking about it, on this basis I may have to withdraw him from my "hate" list. Perhaps it's just disappointment not hate?!

Still don't think he is as good as others (or he himself) think he is but although I stand by what I said at the time, his performances this season have been a huge step up.

Moronically yours

How can people say they hate Steven Hunt?

This is a player who wears his heart on his sleve,Gives 110 percent and tackles like his life depends on it.
This season he has in my eyes and many others on here been amazing and by far our best player.

Sure every one is entitled to there own oppinion but to say they hate our best player shows there is something sadley wrong with our support

A lot of the posts on this topic are from February 2007 when Hunty wasn't quite so well regarded. Still a bit silly to hate the man for his constant effort!

Love - Ibrahima - let's hope he gets his form back. Harps - consistent. Lita - misunderstood! I'm also starting to fall for Cisse and AK47.

Hate - Hunt I'm afraid. I think he is one of the main reasons that we are struggling. He is a ball chaser and confuses anyone who has to play alongside him, and now he seems to be the free kick specialist as well. He could have ensured Sunderland's relegation but we didn't let him go. These type of players are 2 a penny in the Championship and that's where he should be.
I almost forgot, Oster - why?Top

The point of the thread, from what I remember, was abotu irrational likes and dislikes of players eg. I will never slag off Glen Little even he puts in a 70min stint of complete incompetence just because I LOVE him.

Saying "I don't like Bryn because he's been a bit shit" is fairly rational and not really the point. H+Ps hatred of Marcus is still the most LOL thing on here mind you.

Vision LOVE PLAYER

Glen Little

In my opinion the most sublimely skillful player i have ever seen playing for us and i saw Mr Friday. Like Mags i firmly believe any crosses that fail to find their target are purely down to inept forward play and nothing to do with Blakey. Any failings in the shooting department are purely down to the fact that he's got tired or bored from screwing opposing players into the ground for the umpteenth time. In an age when we're told by experts that you have to have pace, power or preferably both to succeed he proves that experts are in fact kunters.

HATE PLAYER

Graeme Murty

Yes i know he's wonderful and lovely and all that and that's the problem. For his first 18 months to 2 years the man was a complete waster. Nothing too odd with that really as the club was full of them at the time. But ever since then he's been on a mission to show me up. His football has been fantastic and he's been a wonderful ambassador for the club and therefore he makes me feel guilty for the original hatred. He even spells his name "Graeme" FFS. I should let it go really of course but until he lifts the "Premiership" trophy i'll always blame him for making me watch Andy f*****g Gurney attempt to play full back.

12 Months down the line and time has only strengthened my views. I flat out refuse , despite the overwhelming evidence, to believe that i won't see Blakey adding flair, creativity and downright genius to our honest, hard-working yet lets be honest rather dull team.

Murty just irritates me more and more. As if the reasons i listed previously weren't enough the annoying tit seems to be on a one man mission to haunt me by inflicting his insufferable gibberish on any TV or Radio show desperate enough to showcase him. Listen mate i don't give a flying one about how many nappies you've changed in the last few days i'm only concerned with the fact you're keeping one of the best young right backs in the country out of the side.

As for the Hahnemann bashers (well H+P mainly) you've got to be off your nut. As much as my deeply unhealthy obsession with Mrs Hahnemann would automatically put him in my "Hate" corner, the simple fact is that the man carries a gun and you just know he's desperate to use it.. Only an eejit would dis a yank with a weapons obsession.

As for older players well the list is pretty endless but i will go for........

LOVE PLAYER

Richie Bowman

I can't have been more than 9 or 10 when i first watched the great man but even then i know i was taller than him. He could do absolutely everything. For newer fans he was the best bits of Hunt, Harper, Sidwell amd Matejovsky all rolled into one and in a team of heroes (to my young eyes anyway) he was a true shining light. Forget Friday, Bowman was the greatest footballer you never saw.

HATE PLAYER

Robert Fleck

I could attempt to be prosaic and erudite in explaining why i hate the "moneygrabbing, Purple Turtle table-dancing on the day of our relegation, Shooters fruitmachine addicted, received the oppositions player of the year award on the supposedly historic last ever game at our place of worship, utterly useless shower of pish that was Robert Fleck. However suffice to say that in a whole collection of worthless wasters he was the biggest pile of shite of the lot.

BTW those that are nit-picking at specific nominations should bare in mind. peoples "hate" nominations aren't to be taken too seriously and are generally irrational and tongue in cheek. Except for Robert Fleck, he really was a total oxf*rd.

I don't believe in all this favouritism/discrimination hidden agenda. I hate all of our players equally.
