How about building on this team

Federici, Rosenior, Bikey, De la Cruz, Duberry, Hunt, Cisse, Fae, Convey, Long, Lita

This is the last combination to have had any form of success (2-2 v Spurs)

Do you mean the 2-2? TBH, I didn't think that line-up worked well enough to justify all the players coming back (especially Duberry, who was injured in that match and hasn't played since), but there is some merit in trying to recapture the attitude shown in the 2nd half of that match, where it was virtually 4-2-4 as the team chased the match. It would be great to see some pace injected up front (Lita or Long) and on the flanks (Rosenior), with a bit more bite in midfield (Bikey?). But crucially, maybe the team should start out tomorrow like it's already a goal down - that was always the impression I got last season, that they were out to prove themselves from the off. And it's interesting that SC is talking of 7-8 fringe players insisting they can improve the team - if those that get the nod can walk the talk tomorrow, we'll be set fair for the rest of the season.

Yes I meant 2-2

Attitude was excellent against a good Spurs team and some of our reserves can really play if they get the chance. Tomorrow could a big day for some of these

They'll only have 2 up front!
Dela & Shorey as wingbacks!

It must be about time that young Phil Burns got a run out in goal.

Lita MUST start, and my team would be...

------------------USA------------------

Rosenior----Cisse----Ingi-----Shorey

Kebe---Mateyovski----Bikey---Hunt

------------Lita-------Kitson----------

RTFC Drummer Which Formation?

USA in goal and the old 2-3-5 I reckon. Two full-backs (Murty, Shorey), three half-backs (Bikey, Harper, Marek), two wingers (Kebe, Hunt), two inside-forwards (Lita, Long), and Kitson as centre-forward.

Should give 'em something to think about.
