Gtfo

Well, shocking second half performance today but at least we found the net twice. I'm not worrying about the autos now (I could do without the stress), and I think a victory against Barnsley is more than possible now we've scored and a win will cement our play off place.

On the bright side, S Hunt put in some good crosses today.

SteveRoyal We shouldn't blame Coppell for this.
It's the players and their mindset - it is all wrong.

Who has the job to get the right players in and with the right mindset?

LoyalRoyalFan You wonder what the half-time team talk was like.

Coppell: ..........
Downes: Say something gaffer.
Coppell: What? 442. Whack it up to the forwards. Now leave me alone, I've got some quotable anecdotes to write for post-match.

Wally Downes?

I would say, lock them in the changing room at half-time until they got a winning mindset.

We can't ask to play the second half on Thursday.

We have the ultimate dilemma here, we play a more energetic and athletic midfield, but in doing so we are giving ourselves less rear cover without the more defensive line ups of late, and we look very suspect defensively. Needed reliable confident defenders earlier on this year but that has now passed us by and we are the vicitms of our own reluctance to invest.

We have been the victims of our own reluctance to invest since the start of 07/08.

In a nutshell although I would narrow it down to summer 2007. We had just finished 8th in the Prem and instead of using that as a springboard we bought Emerse Fae and Khaliffa Cisse and that was it. :|
Oh and lost Steve Sidwell.
