strap
LoyalRoyalFan Bit of a request here.

Has anyone got a video of the Tranmere play-off semi final first leg?

Thanks.

I think Tamworth Royal has my live recording, and for some reason there are no highlights on the end of season vid. Will try lookign at my recording of the P/O FInal and see if they showed at least the S/F goals in the build up.

Thanks.

weybridgewanderer most ecstatic moment, god there have been so many

20th january 2006 springs to mind. we go 1 down away at selhurst park in the 79th minute and for a moment it looks like our long unbeaten run might come to an end to coppell's other team

then in the 81st minute harps equalises. Pandemonium!

1) Simon Osborn clattering the crossbar at EP with the best volley I have ever seen - the crossbar would still be shaking if it wasn't underneath a housing estate (so bizarrely my favourite moment is not even a goal)
2) Archie scoring twice in injury time to beat Wolves 2-1
3) Dylan Kerr left foot screamer (against Port Vale) in our promotion season
4) Harps last gasp winner at Boro in last premier season to end our away game drought
5) Marek's stunning volley at Anfield to give us the lead and win me £165 quid for backing him at 33/1

Some of these cup games are going to start ranking up there soon, all three games this year involving last minute goals, even the bloody Barnsley game in the Coca Cola Cup :D

Also Rasiak's goal and full time against Blackpool this year felt pretty good after waiting so long to win at home.

Great night, great game between two really good teams who knew they would be meeting again at Wembley. I can honestly say that I have never known the Tilehurst End go so totally lipstick when Nogs scored the winner.

A few:

Going top of the league when we beat Halifax 4-1 in 1970.
Winning promotion for the first time in 50 years at Cambridge.
Beating Newport 2-0 in 1985 to set the 12-match record.
Plymouth. 0-3. 4-3. Enough said.
1988. Gilkes. Penalty. Coventry.
1994. Reading 2 Brighton 0. Jimmy Quinn. Champions.
1994. Reading 4 Wolves 2. Felt so proud to be a Royal that day.
2006. Reading 2 QPR 1. Murty's pen, Champions and so much more.

Bastards! You had my place! I had a South Bank ST but couldn't get in that night as it was over capacity.

You'll h8 me for this Dirk but I got to the front of the queue by saying "excuse me, ST holder, excuse me" even though I didn't have one. We would never have got in if we hadn't done that.

Special memories and probably the goal that made the Southbank go as mental as I ever saw it. Much more so than the 4-2 over Wolves which was nowhere near a sell-out IIRC

At the MadStad it has to be the Wigan game. Pandemonium.

Glad this has been dug up! Pool and WBA away will live with me forever, Burnley to a lesser extent!

Otherwise, Norwich away last year was special at the time, really thought we were going to do it at the very end of that season!

Taking the lead against Wolves in the play-off semi was something else, i thought i was going to faint!

Gunnars equaliser at Old Trafford.

Wigan play-offs naturally.

Wasnt at Brentford :(

^ Only one I can find is in this video, some crackers there too:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed0o2kOk0TQ

Goal D.

Might as well update my list now as there's been a couple more this season! The usual suspects in the cup:

- Gylfi dispatching the penalty against Liverpool, I screamed like a little girl and lost my voice in the process.
- Long's header was equally ecstatic but this time no noise came out of me due to the now lack of voice. I did accidentally break two pint glasses by almost knocking the table over, though.
- Howard's late, late goal last week. Nothing got damaged but seeing that ball hit the back of the net was a moment of pure joy! Such a natural high that you'll never beat.

Some cracking goals on that video, but it can't be a goal of the month because they're over two season - must be goal of 2002 or something.

Hopefully most estatic moment will be celebrating a trip to Wembley after Sunday's game.
