This is the kind of result I have waited all season for. A convincing win! :D

curse curse curse -- the most exciting match of the season, and I have visitors. I love my family and friends dearly and to be fair I hadn't expected a lively match as I'd assumed the team would be tired after midweek (I know I still haven't recovered), but... waaaaah :(

fair____play

I'm on record hereabouts as not having been fussed over the fixtures pileup (although the Albion replay is more than I'd've bargained for --but then, so it goes on the road to gLOLory I suppose)

Anyway, I think it's good for their minds to have to stay sharp and always be ready to get out there and get after it twice in what's become a typical week, although I do worry some about accumulated bookings/resultant suspensions and injury, but then so it goes

What we're starting off right now is the first full week of "rest"/training that we've had since the week between Barnsley at home on 30th January and Donny away on 6th February

Depending upon how things play out, it also could be the last before the final Sunday, and in any case it's the only one between now and the bridge week between March and April, and so let's have a look...

27 FEB (Sat) Sheff Wed
7 MAR (Sun) Villa FAC6Rnd
10 MAR (Wed) Derby (h)
13 MAR (Sat) Bristol C (h)
16 MAR (Tue) QPR (h) OR Sixth Round Replay (A)
20 MAR (Sat) Boro (a)
24 MAR (Wed) Leicester (a)
27 MAR (Sat) West Brom (h)
30/31 MAR (Tue/Wed) QPR rearranged (only if necessary; from 16th March; idle in midweek otherwise)
3 APR (Sat) Ipswich (a)
5 APR (Mon) Coventry (h)
10 APR (Sat) Cardiff (a) OR Cup Semifinal
13 APR (Tue) Newcastle (h)
17 APR (Sat) Peterborough (h)
20 APR (Tue) Scunny (a)
24 APR (Sat) Watford (a)
27/28/29 APR (Tue/Wed/Thu) Cardiff rearranged (only if necessary; from 10th April; idle in midweek otherwise)
2 MAY (Sun) Preston (h)
15 MAY (Sat) Dream large!

So we're currently scheduled not to play during three of the remaining nine midweeks before the league campaign ends, but that could be pared down to none before it's all over with

And I still don't think I'd mind it all that much if the fellas keep playing anything like they've been doing

2 world wars, 1 world cup Judging by the way Sheff Wed have been playing, he way we've been playing, the stats between the two, the motivation of our players and the form they're in and the likely lineup and formation Brian will use I deduce that we will probably win 5-0.
