Good news - it was always likely that one. Lets hope for Harte and a forward to go with it and I'll end the day relatively pleased

I liked the chant from last season, his name sung the seven nation army! Very continental!

Attack is the best form of defence.

Terrific news on Zurab.

Only dipping in and out of this today - have we signed Ian Harte too? I know he's nothing like the player he was for Leeds and Ireland, but he was always one of my favourites, being a lefty (I think?) and scoring my fantasy team a ton of points with his free-kicks.

Unconfirmed but highly rumoured.

Good move - in the last year of his deal at Blackburn - have him on loan now and if all works out sign him for free next summer.

Apparently - and to contradict my earlier post - zurab is in the last year of his Blackburn contract, so will be on a free at the end of the season. So in this case the loan is nearly as good as signing him

Without a doubt. Would also be a worthwhile replacement on direct set-piece duties for Siggy.

Wouldn't happen though.

This makes a loan deal seem a lot better than signing him outright now. Fingers crossed he continues to play well and settles into the club and area.

Have liked him for years, shame it's an impossibility though.

Brilliant news.

Defence now sorted.

Just in DESPERATE NEED of a striker now.

Add to that a good prospect hotshot midfielder and I might live with Gylfi leaving.
