TBM Club confirm 1 more to sign

BBC Sport's Jonathan Stevenson As for Ian Harte - Reading just confirmed to me they are expecting one in late doors and though they wouldn't mention Harte by name, he's where the safe money is."

Where's that on the BBC?

roadrunner Madejski speaking after confirming Gylfi Sigurdsson's departure - "Very importantly, with this manager, staff and players, we remain competitive in this division and following Gylfi's departure we will add new players to the squad."

What time does the transfer window close?

IN

Khizanishvili - season long loan.

Note we are now only now seeking to remain competitive in this division rather than seeking a speedy (or any) return to the PL. Whether or not we will actually be able to compete in this division and avoid relegation after toady's (Freudian slip - today's) dealings, remains to be seen.

tomrfcurz If we seriously lose our top goalscorer for over £6mil and just sign two defenders for a total of just £50,000 this club is in extreme trouble this season. Really we need a new striker AND attacking midfielder in my opinion but at the moment to get one of those looks like it would be good

To be fair to Madejski (and god knows why!) there will no doubt be a loan fee for Zurab but your sentiments remain largely correct.

No forwards then. Unbelievable.

Agreed. The Khizanishvilli signing is a good move but as it stands - Harte or no Harte - we are considerably weaker again after the end of transfer window.

So, deals this summer looking like:

OUT:
Marek, Bertrand, Zurab, Cisse, Sig, Lump

IN:
Zurab, Harte, Williams.

£4m shortfall, so lets make it £7m just to be sure. I just cant wait to read those accounts. That should wipe the smug smile off the rest of the chamionship.

WeLOL ROFLun CLOLub.

IS there any chance we could hijack Waghorn's move to Leicester? I'd be very very happy if we signed him.

RFC Balance sheet of transfer

Income

Sale of Glyfi Sigguardson 7.3m = £6m

Expenditure

VAT £1m
Agent Fee's £2m
Bank charges £150k
Currency conversion £2m

Profit £850k

SJM, we invested everything left from the sale of Sigguardson, bringing in Ian Harte demonstrates that myself, Hammond and Nigel are doing everything in our powers to get Reading back in the Premier League.

I don't know, he could do a lot worse, plus it may only need to be till January, to impress McLeish.

Oh, is he? How badly injured?
