Ferris I got uppercutted by my Dad when we scored in a 5-0 win over Oldham.

On a similar theme, I accidently chinned the guy sitting next to me when Gilsky scored in the Simod Cup Final.

Remember the coining at Swindon - and the wonderful Wiltshire Constabulary were filming us and taking absolutely no notice of the scummers on the other side of the fence chucking the coins over.

Some mates and I had a face off with shed loads of Newport's finest after the record breaking win - no real aggro though as a PC single handedly sent them packing.

Also got attacked by 4-5 Walsall fans after we'd lost 6-0 - only had a cut on the nose and when I went to tell a police dog handler what had happened his bloody dog started on me too!!!

I even got thrown out of Fulham once for uttering a profanity when Sir Trev was kneed in the back by one of their players - the police had me in an arm lock as if I was going to kick off

Christ I sound like a right hooligan

I got headbutted, kicked, spat on outside of St Andrews after the last game of the season in 96.
And a friend of mine was punched in the gob by a Wolves fan after the game at Elm Park walking down Norfolk road just 1 week earlier.

Yes, great goal at Tilehurst End.

They invaded the Southbank at full-time, it emptied quicker than you could say "Excuse me gentlemen aren't you supposed to be in the away end?"

Lots of aggro that day, running battles all the way down Tilehurst Road towards town.

Yeah at Leicester in 95, got a few punches and slaps fro their stewards and fans.
It started with their fans throwing coins and we were right in the corner and nearly every coin was hitting. We had the Reading police in with us and we asked them what they were going to do about it 'nothing' was the reply. So we kindly gave the coins back. We were then 'escorted' out via a walkway between both sets of fans which was where we got a slap.

I got spat in the face from a West Brom pcunt after we beat the in the cup last year.

I guess it made him feel better, considering he was a fat hopeless twat from the midlands. Even with the spit on my face, I was always going to be better than him..

Twatted by a Palace fan after the 1-1 in Jan 06, the 70's throwback closely following that by twatting floyd as well. Also had a couple of coins thrown at me in the subway at Molineux after the 4-1 defeat in Jan 04. That is literally it. Probably nothing compared to what some of the older fans have had to endure. Part of me wishes I had been around/old enough to "participate" in the 70's/80's. Naturally, part of me doesn't as well :|

Watched Newport County win Home & Away against Shrewsbury
who were in a higher division, to win The Welsh Cup and get
into The European Cup Winners Cup.

My brother and I got a fairly bad kicking from a bunch of Shrewsbury
supporters and the police knew who their leader was but didn't care.

Bro had a 120-mile motor-bike ride home nursing his wounds.

The bruises faded but not the memory of our European run where we
scored 12 and only let in 3, going out by a single goal in the quarter final

Maguire I got punched outside the MadStad once by a Rotherham fan who was pushing a wheelchair in Lou and Andy style. We'd beaten them 2-0 and I left a little early at which point he started screaming "CHEATS CHEEEEEATS" at me. I laughed which appeared to anger him as he walked over and lamped me. No real harm done.

:| I also got thumped after this game. It was the days before the safety fence and as we left the East in good spirits after a rumpustuous top of the table clash (Rotherham finished with 9 men) we bumped into Rotherham fans getting back on their coaches giving it the big 'un and abusing anyone who came past. I started a chant of you dirty northern b@stards which inflamed things, one bloke went to lunge at me and his actions were interrupted by a line of desperate stewards who knocked him to the floor whereupon a group of RFC fans piled in and kicked him repeatedly in the head :| . My comeuppance came as I backed away down Hurst Road and suddenly I felt a thump to the back of my head, some fat angry northerner wanted some. Luckily my younger brother :| stepped in.

I was also punched full in the face outside Selhurst Park after a 1-1 draw back in '06. Serves me right for stepping in to Handbags Harris's aid after he had been shoved to the floor by some Palace thug. That is basically it for my hooligan career, which basically is more Coronation Street than Green Street.

This thread has given me a massive boner, tbh. Do you know what you don't get with Reading these days? A proper raucous away following. Ok, so we're never exactly an intimidating bunch but I can remember the days of random pitch invasions; was only remniscing the other day about a 2-2 draw at Watford (2-0 down at half time after McGhee tried some nonsense 3-5-2 formation), Reading fans in the Lower Rous spilled onto the pitch in jubilation at the equaliser. Lovely stuff, more of that kind of thing please. See you on the pitch Saturday 8)

I drove up to Molineux, (my son went to school up at Lichfield), cant remember the year, it was a 1-1 draw, Mc Ghee was their manager, and we were baiting their lot about him soon going off to Man U.
After the game, I lost my bearings totally as to where I had parked the motor, and, surprise surprise, ran into some of their knuckle draggers. Even though I was shielding a ten year old kid, they still gave me some. God, I oxf*rd hate Wolves.

In my younger days, my mates and I were jumped by some Scummers outside the Southbank in 1976, League Cup, when their keeper, Gennoe, played an absolute blinder. I can still remember a kind of revenge in the replay at The Dell, does anyone else remember the walk back to the special train turning into a full-on charge down the hill to the station, where their "boys" were waiting?
They disappeared faster than condensation. Fuk'em.

Looking back, getting out of Headington United was never a pleasant experience, but I was younger then, and thought differently. 8)

Was that on a Friday night? I remember that game being a bit naughty.

I havn't really experianced any 'real' football trouble. A Wolves fan pushed me about a bit in town in 06, a coin hit my mate next to me in 05 - Swansea at home, and when we played Southampton at home in 06 there was some handbags near the busses before the game that I managed to end up in the middle of. I just walked off though. Since then I can't remember any sort of trouble, apart from Cardiff at home a few seasons back.

That was an absolutely fcuking awsome day out.

We got trapped in a pub near the station by a load of Watford. Thought armageddon was approaching until the police appeared. The pub was about 100 yards from the Cop Shop.

I was absolutely troylleyed and vaguely remember managing to haul my chubby frame onto the Vicaridge Road playing surface only for Archie to tell me to get of the fcuking pitch! I'm sure he wasn't particularly singling me out for the abuse but I did try and kiss him.

Yup, sure was. I remember it well, kind of bizarre. Highly charged game, remember us giving Andy Johnson loads of stick when he scored, cue typical minute-later-equaliser which seemed to tip them over the edge. Outside the Holmesdale Road end loads of verbal shit being thrown in our direction, spilt over into minor fisticuffs as floyd mentioned.

I seem to remember Yeovil fans chucking bits of brick and stone at a group of us on the old embankment coming down from the back of the East Stand. Must have been in the FA Cup, cos it was before they were promoted out of the Conference. Witnessed and avoided other stuff in Poland, but that's it for the UK.
