I guess I should be used to it by now, but it really is buttock-clenchingly tedious these turgid and repetitious threads about how some people are better fans than others. Seriously, I don't mind what you do or don't so at the game (even when you embarrass yourself with your little chants and feuds and (ahem) 'witty' baiting of opposition fans and players). So long as you don't interfere with other people's enjoyment.

Personally, I enjoyed the game yesterday. Much better than last year's equivalent trip to Loftus Road (and the year before - one of the coldest and most boring 0-0s ever). I didn't agree with every remark or action of the other supporters. But I don't think that makes them retards, or saints.

Agreed
It was an enjoyable game and if you can't be embarrassing when Warnock's the opposition manager when can you?

Old Boy, I do agree. My thread was more of a dig at the increasingly used term of 'day trippers'. I wanted to know how many games, according to the 'proper' fans, a supporter needs to be miss before they fall into this bracket.

What if you miss an away game partly because you know it'll be full of day-trippers? Is that a legitimate excuse?

Who are you to call people mongs? Exactly, you're no one and nor am i. Or is it because you've got 27k posts and spent the last 4 years of your life on here you feel you have the right?

Winnershroyal I'm quite glad there are some "mongs" that travel away. I was there yesterday and may have been one when I was slagging off their fans in the Ellerslie nearest me. so what?

Most of the people on here are mongs to be fair - so by definition you're going to find a fair few at away games.

I wouldn't say you were a mong Irvinechangeyname - though your user name is odd.

There were some funny blokes a few rows in front of me in the Z6 section - one kept shouting out "twat head" and another, behind me, called someone a "effing plonker". If you're going to use the F word, you might as well go the whole hog and call them another swear word to go with it, rather than plonker! I wouldn't call them mongs either though.

RFC home crowd. 87% mong

RFC away crowd 92 % mong

who cares? i go to watch football i dont give an OXFD about what others think

Wouldn't it be generally better to use the unabbreviated term of...

Although one would agree that there is a certain slightly 'spas' tint to some of Reading's support, it would do to compare, perhaps on Wednesday evening for example.

Many of the homunculi and trolls crossing the bridge into England will have you reassessing your fellow fans around the Spas Stad once you've had a look around the away end.

Those same breeding irregularities can be seen in the hunched appearances of players such as Craig Bellamy, for example.
